Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Descent

Call of Duty: Black OPS III – Descent is a third DLC expansion that is a part of season pass for PC, XONE and PS4 version of 2015’s shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops III made by Treyarch studio. Like previous Add-ons for this game – Awakening and Eclipse – it has been released for PlayStation 4 console, with Xbox One and PC players receiving it a month later. Additionally, Descent is unavailable on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions.

As far as its content goes, Descent doesn’t stand out from what long-time fans of the series got used to. We received four new maps for multiplayer mode:

Empire – a new version of Raid arena from Call of duty: Black Ops II, which combines classic structure of the previous entry in Black Ops mini-series with new movement mechanics from third game.

Cryogen – small map with oval shape, depicting isolated prison at The Dead Sea, where the most dangerous criminals are kept in cryogenic capsules

Berserk – a medium map of frozen Viking’s village, where players fight over a bridge at the central point of the map, with never-ending snow-storm.

Rumble – a stadium where players fight for life and death around colossal mechs and robots, accompanied by a crowd of spectators.

A second part of this DLC is another chapter of cooperative zombie mini-campaign, titled Gorod Krovi. The mission lets players travel into alternate reality of USRR of 40’s, where players face against army of mechanized undead soldiers. On the top of that, enemies will get air support in form of gigantic, fire-breathing dragons.
