Rayani Air (Jawi: راياني أير) is a planned budget airline in Malaysia. It is the fourth airline in the world that imposed application of Sharia-Compliant to each Muslim cabin crews after Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA), Saudi Arabian Airlines and Iran Air. In addition, no alcoholics beverages or pork are served on board in accordance with Islamic dietary laws and prayers will be recited before a flight departs. The compliance receives positive feedbacks from the netizens nationwide. [1]

History

Previously Rayani Airlines is set to be based at Malacca International Airport somewhere in late Q4 2014 with its inaugural flight to took place in August. [2] However they changed their base to Langkawi International Airport in order to attract tourists to the resort island.[3]

Currently, they are planning to operate using Boeing 737-400 aircrafts, which were available. On their official Facebook page, they are about to receive its first aircraft. [4]
