Much of this page is verbatim from http://www.gwu.edu/~erpapers/abouteleanor/q-and-a/glossary/ickes-harold.htm. I am not familiar enough to know if this is allowed. Is it? JnB987 20:08, 1 Jun 2004 (UTC)

This US gov't site has some more interesting info, should be copyright free. Wolfman 05:52, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Ickes middle name

Is his middle name spelt correctly in this article? I remember reading that it was LeClare. Pgerckn (talk) 11:24, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch; the correct spelling is unknown. I've added a note and citation about this under "Pronunciation and spelling of name."Gingerwiki (talk) 04:55, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

POV

The neutrality of this article is questionable. Whenever a negative comment is made, there is no citation. For instance what does "little change" in unemployment mean? There at least should be a citation so people can judge that. The same can be said for "some historians." Classic weasel words and POV. --Ajterand (talk) 23:04, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
