- DirectorDarren AronofskyStarsBrendan FraserSadie SinkTy SimpkinsA reclusive, morbidly obese English teacher attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter.Brendan Frasers deserves all the praise, blew it out of the park. Almost like a play, as everything is shot in this one room. A masterclass, and all his relationships are very well explored. Maybe a difficult rewatch only because it is too real and making it little depressing and difficult to digest, yet beautiful. A story not told yet.

- DirectorMartin BrestStarsAl PacinoChris O'DonnellJames RebhornA prep school student needing money agrees to "babysit" a blind man, but the job is not at all what he anticipated.Al Pacino is just on another level, owns the complete movie. Great editing as well, felt very crisp and some some memorable moments which will stick with me for some time whenever I recall the movie. Enjoyable and so easy on the eye despite the strong opinioned character who can be reckless at time. Captures the human vulnerability beautifully.

- DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsDaniel Day-LewisSally FieldDavid StrathairnAs the Civil War rages on, U.S President Abraham Lincoln struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield as he fights with many inside his own cabinet on his decision to emancipate the slaves.I did not connect with the subject matter too closely so couldn't get invested. I was more intrigued by Lincoln's team of vote collectors then Lincoln himself. Though I have no doubts that Daniel Day Lewis did a marvelous job as the titular character. But at the end of the day very few things I take away that I remembered apart from synopsis of the movie.

- DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsEric BanaDaniel CraigMarie-Josée CrozeAfter the Black September capture and massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics, five men are chosen to eliminate the people responsible for that fateful day.Time period is depicted well with Fashion, cars and décor, a lot more detail and research has gone into the production then in the script itself. The assassination team seems disjointed and unprofessional, not enough individual background and movie jumps a lot from one plot to next. The way movie flows felt forced, the rhythm is weak. Uses a lot of easy way out for information to flow, like identifying the location of the targets and information negotiations. The message is good and I empathize with the perspective of the movie but my pet peeve is historical inaccuracies.
6.5/10, On Prime.
