The subject of time travel and quantum mechanics is an interesting topic for sci-fi filmmakers to munch on, and Larry Wade Carrell’s 2023 film, The Quantum Devil, is no exception. It’s a sly wink at the fact that not every quest for knowledge yields Nobel-worthy results. Sometimes, it lands you in a parallel universe where the extraordinary is the new ordinary, and danger lurks around every corner. Meet our fearless foursome: Matthews, Luke, Ivanna, and Sophie, who’re on a wild goose chase to solve a riddle that’s more mind-boggling than a Picasso painting. As they go down the rabbit hole, they come across a dimension where the rules of life and death don’t matter, old secrets pop up, and who knows what else!

While 1987’s Werewolf beat it to the punch by a few years, She-Wolf of London is still an important pioneer in lycan storytelling on television. This 1990 series was also ahead of the pack of other supernatural dramas that blended horror, humor, and romance. Created by Universal Television and McA Television Entertainment as part of the original syndicated programming for Hollywood Premiere Network — the only other original shows produced were Shades of L.A. and They Came From Outer Space — She-Wolf of London was an experiment from start to finish. Rather than being a remake of the classic 1946 film, this new take aimed to be totally different. And indeed it was, although not everyone was receptive to the final product.

In its review, The Los Angeles Times called She-Wolf of London “too plodding and sexless” for either kids or adults. The show was made for cable, so naturally there were certain expectations.

The film has been sold to US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Poland and Latin America.

UK genre specialist Jinga Films has sold Larry Wade Carrell’s The Quantum Devil to multiple territories including North America and the UK and Ireland.

1091 Pictures, recently acquired by Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, is distributing the title in North America while High-Fliers has it for the UK and Ireland.

Jinga also sold the film to Scandinavia (Njuta); Poland (White & Red); and Latin America (Encripta).

Blockbuster: The Story of James Cameron comes from podcast companies Cadence13 and Epicleff Media and will tell the story of how 22-year old Cameron went from being a truck driver to one of the most successful directors of all time.

Previously named Black Flowers (the title under which it screened at Sci-Fi London a couple of years ago), the newly titled Atomic Apocalypse, directed and written by Martin Gooch (The Gatehouse), is a post-apocalyptic science-fiction film set in the broken terrain of North America.

Atomic Apocalypse follows a family on their journey to survive the harsh new world they find themselves in. The lead performance comes from Krista DeMille (Distance) as Kate, who, along with her husband Sam, played by Ron Rogge (Stranger Things) and daughter Suzy (Andrea Sweeney), find themselves in trouble when Sam is injured by a run-in with a gang of bandits. They meet Joe, who joins them on their travels.

Showtime announced today that filming has finished on David Lynch and Mark Frost’s Twin Peaks revival series. Ahead of its 2017 premiere, the series’ complete cast—including returning actors as well as those who are new to the series—has been revealed.

Showtime revealed the full cast list for its upcoming "Twin Peaks" revival, and it's nothing short of insane -- and insanely long.

The ensemble includes a whopping 217 actors -- yes, you read that right -- and amid all the returning faces, there are also a bunch of surprising, big-name newbies along for the ride this time around. (We've embedded the entire list at the end of this post.)

The new "Twin Peaks" isn't slated to debut on Showtime until 2017, but a flurry of speculation about it happened last week with a tweet from Go For Locations indicating that filming had wrapped on the "first two seasons" of the series.

The episode count for the David Lynch-directed series was always in question, but that tweet suggested we'd be getting even more episodes than originally planned. Said tweet has since been deleted, so we'll have to wait to see how that pans out.

A Haunting in Thornby is a co-production from Raging Bull Entertainment and Khoury A. Marriot Productions. This haunted house styled thriller completed production in May, and the film has secured a fourth quarter release through UnCork’D Entertainment. In the vein of Stanley Kubrick’s classic The Shining and Tomas Alfredson’s dark coming of age thriller Let the Right One, A Haunting in Thornby will unsettle audiences in a similar fashion this November.
