Paramount+ shared a sneak peek clip for its upcoming South Park: Post Covid special event, which debuts on Thanksgiving Thursday, Nov. 25.
In the latest look at the Paramount+ special, Stan and dad Randy are still up to no good as their latest antics brings them to a doctor’s office. After receiving some news from the medical expert, an aged Randy attacks his doctor and encourages adult Stan to kick him in the groin.
“Kick his f**king balls so we can go,” Randy instructs his son, who eventually follows through.
After the doctor’s down wincing in pain, Stan grabs his keys and the father-son duo exit the office to wreak some more havoc.
Per Paramount+, in South Park: Post Covid, viewers will find out the answer to the question: What happened to the children who lived through the pandemic? Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny survived but will never be the same post-Covid.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone, co-creators of South Park, have signed a sweeping renewal with ViacomCBS that will keep the show on Comedy Central through 2027 and send 14 original movies to Paramount+.
The official announcement of the deal did not specify a dollar figure but multiple press reports pegged it at $900 million, one of the richest ever. While the new pact is a sign of the company looking to feed its own platforms, ViacomCBS set a lucrative licensing pact with WarnerMedia for a chunk of the show’s library to stream on HBO Max, though it retained many key rights.
Two of the original South Park films will premiere on Paramount+ in 2021, with two a year planned through 2027.

South Park fans will get a second round of coronavirus-inspired comedy as the Comedy Central title sets another hour-long pandemic special.
The long-running animated series’ sophomore special, South ParQ The Vaccination Special, will air on MTV2 on Wednesday Mar. 10 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt. The hour-long episode is a follow up to last year’s South ParQ The Pandemic Special, which scored the series’ best ratings in seven years.
In South ParQ The Vaccination Special, the residents of South Park are clamoring for the Covid-19 vaccine. A new militant group attempts to stop the boys from getting their teacher vaccinated. The previous special saw Randy seizing on a growing pot market as he comes to terms with his role in the Covid outbreak. Cartman, still in pajamas from remote learning, is none too thrilled about returning to the “slavery” of the school classroom where teachers seem to have been replaced by cops.

“South Park” is sticking around for a few more years. Ahead of its 23rd season, Comedy Central has agreed to a new deal with Matt Stone and Trey Parker to keep the longrunning cartoon for an additional three seasons.
That will take “South Park” through Season 26 and 327 episodes. Stone and Parker, as they have since it debuted in 1997, will continue to write, direct and edit every episode.
“South Park” is the longest running primetime scripted series on cable and will surpass its 300th episode this season — though that still leaves it some 300 episodes shy (and counting) of that other long-running animated series in “The Simpsons.” Among young adults, “South park” has been the highest-rated cable comedy in primetime for the last six years.

From week to week, South Park brings us revolting, swear-heavy and at the same time intellectually provoking stories for thirteen seasons. Music has always been a big part of the series' success and I'm not only talking about the musical specials such as the "Chef Aid" or the collection of Christmas songs that were performed in the third season. The scores have been just as important, starting with Adam Berry's redneck-stinger that opened almost every episode and became a signature calling card of the show. But when Berry left the show during the fourth season, the frantic search for a new composer began and South Park found Jamie Dunlap for himself.
Jamie's career was tied together with the 3rd season Christmas Special entitled "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics" in which the characters of South Park perform classic holiday songs, invent their own jingles or just call "Rio" a relevan song.
