Terence Maynard was born in Liverpool and brought up in Nantwich,
Cheshire. At the age of eight he showed a natural gift for dancing and,
encouraged by his family, went to dance classes three times a week. As
a result he became interested in performance in general and studied

apparent to him that his main interest was in acting. On graduation in
June 1991 he became a jobbing actor, his first big break being in 1998

this he graduated to a leading role in Sky One's football soap 'Dream
Team' and has since appeared in a recurring role in 'Holby City' and
the children's comedy series 'Young Dracula' as a descendant of Van
Helsing, and, on the West End stage in 'Chicago.' In 2014 he joined the cast of 'Coronation Street'.
