Exclusive: Cassady McClincy (The Walking Dead), Dempsey Bryk (Willow), Lucy Walters (Power) and Royce Johnson (Jessica Jones) are set to lead The Snare, an indie dramatic thriller marking the feature directorial debut of Merlin Camozzi.
The film, which recently wrapped production in Schenectady, NY, centers around Dani (McClincy), a straight-a student from the wrong side of the tracks, who has worked toward an academic scholarship for years. When she’s busted with a small amount of drugs, the police pressure her to become an informant, forcing her to choose between the people she most loves and the future she’s worked so hard to create.
Elizabeth Stahlmann (City on a Hill), Esther Zyskind (The Other Kingdom) and Dominic Bogart (Just Mercy) round out the cast of the pic based on an original story by Camozzi, an Mfa graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, who sought inspiration...

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products released each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.
Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!
Universal Monsters Bobbleheads from Neca
Neca will add four Universal Monsters to its Head Knockers line of bobbleheads in August. Priced at 34.99, Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Dracula, and The Wolf Man are made of hand-painted resin and stand 8″ tall.
The sculpts are pretty fun on these, although I’m not sure why the necks are comically long when Neca’s other bobbleheads don’t have that issue. The prototypes are pictured, so maybe they’ll iron that out before production.
B’Twixt Now and Sunrise: The Authentic Cut Blu-ray from Lionsgate
2011’s Twixt was an ambitious, if flawed, Gothic horror film from the great Francis Ford Coppola that failed to land with critics and audiences alike.

From the opening minutes of this past Sunday night’s penultimate episode you immediately know it’s going to be an impactful one. Judith Grimes once again narrates the intro sequence, this time over a montage of our survivors picking up their trusty weapons from a large chest in Alexandria. The period of peace in the Commonwealth is over, and once again the crew needs to arm up and fight…hopefully for one final time. Judith picks up one of Michonne’s swords and Rick’s infamous python. She places Carl’s sheriff hat on R.J. Grimes.
The swan song of “The Walking Dead” has begun.
Surprisingly, the Outpost 22 variation of Alexandria is not the grand finale setting for the series. It seems as if the over-taking of the soldiers during last episode’s lineup resulted in the saving of Alexandria from Commonwealth command. Such a drastic win for...

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 23
It’s hard to believe that The Walking Dead is almost over. Robert Kirkman’s comic book was designed to be a zombie movie that never ends, and even that came to an end eventually. With 11 seasons and 177 episodes (with next week’s series finale), The Walking Dead as a television property wasn’t endless, but it was as close as an expensive, hour-long cable drama can get, which is a testament both to the staying power of the cast and crew and the dedication of fans. It’s not drawing 17 million eyeballs an episode anymore, but the show remains one of the most popular shows on cable and draws almost double the ratings of anything on The CW. It’s not going out on top by any means, but it’s going out well before it could,...

The swan song for “The Walking Dead” continues with episode 19, properly titled “Variant.” Picking up in the aftermath of Sebastian’s accidental murder at the hands of Eugene, the Commonwealth is desperate to make an example out of him and Maxine. Meanwhile, Aaron, Lydia, Jerry, and Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari) explore a new territory and uncover a terrifying revelation.
The biggest draw of this episode is the highly-anticipated re-introduction of the “Variant” walker, first seen in season 1 of the series and most recently hinted at in the after-credits scene of “The Walking Dead: World Beyond.” That’s right, this episode reveals a walker that can open doors, climb fences, and lift itself up onto ledges. Just when it seemed like walkers were the least of the survivors’ worries, this new evolution of the infected foe has re-established them as a key threat within the series.
Having Lydia be present for the...

There are spin-off and companion shows that will continue and more spin-offs on the way, but The Walking Dead itself will soon be coming to an end. There are only eight episodes of the show left, and those episodes are scheduled to begin airing on October 2nd. AMC+ subscribers will be able to watch two new episodes on that date, and going forward new episodes will reach AMC+ a week before they air on AMC.

After 12 years and 169 episodes, The Walking Dead is leading up to the final fight the survivors will face together. TV Insider has an exclusive first look at the new promo (with new footage!) and key art for the eight episodes of Season 11C. “Do you think people are born brave, or do they become it?” Eugene (Josh McDermitt) asks in the new video, which shows the survivors fighting walkers and the Commonwealth. “We are going to take back our home, and make it right,” Maggie (Lauren Cohan) says. Carol (Melissa McBride) knows “this isn’t going to be easy,” but as Daryl (Norman Reedus) points out, “When is it ever?” Watch the video above for a glimpse of what to expect in the final episodes, then scroll down to check out the new art, showing the survivors — Cassady McClincy as Lydia, Nadia Hilker as Magna, Paola Lázaro as Juanita ‘Princess’ Sanchez,...

It's not just zombies who come back from the dead. Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) makes a dramatic return and surprises some old friends in this exclusive clip from the March 27 episode of The Walking Dead. After walking out on Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and her group earlier in the season, the two parties reunite. Negan has been hiding out in the Riverbend apartment complex with Annie (Medina Senghore). When Maggie, Aaron (Ross Marquand), Lydia (Cassady McClincy) and Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari) make their way into one of the units, Annie surprises them and commands them to drop their weapons. The biggest bombshell of all, however, is that Negan is also on the...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 13, “Warlords.”] We all knew it was too good to be true, right? Granted, signs that the Commonwealth was up to no good were appearing earlier on in the season than in “Warlords,” but in this Aaron (Ross Marquand) and Gabriel (Seth Gilliam)-centric hour, it becomes abundantly clear that the new community — or at least, the faction of it that’s under Lance Hornsby’s (Josh Hamilton) thumb — is bad, with a capital “B.” And also brutal, with a capital “B.” Here’s how it happens. At Hilltop, Lydia (Cassady McClincy) and her friends have a grim encounter with a dying man on horseback. He has a Commonwealth checkpoint pamphlet on him, and his dying words are that Lydia “has to go” and that “they’re slaughtering them.” Maggie (Lauren Cohan) heads out to investigate, taking Lydia and Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari) with her. They go...

But in “Out of the Ashes,” it’s clearer than ever that Alexandria’s old foes haven’t entirely faded away. Elsewhere, Team Eugene (Josh McDermitt) is inducted into the Commonwealth, and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) come to a few awkward blows. Here’s how it happens. Josh Stringer/AMC Alexandria’s latest solution to the food problem and the fence-collapsing problem—which nearly floods the community with walkers in the opening minutes—is to head over to the destroyed Hilltop, in hopes they can find a few salvageable supplies. A team consisting of Aaron (Ross Marquand), Carol (Melissa McBride), Lydia (Cassady McClincy), and Jerry (Cooper Andrews) makes the trip ...

So, was the wait worth it?
That’s the question that fans of The Walking Dead will undoubtedly be asking themselves now that the long-delayed – and we do mean long-delayed – season 10 finale has finally aired. Indeed, thanks to Covid-19, the episode was moved from its initial premiere date back in April to tonight, October 4th. And the wait has certainly been a tough one.
Thankfully, though, the outing mostly delivered, offering a handful of fantastic moments, some extremely tantalizing teases for the future and, of course, a big death scene for one of the show’s major characters. And if you haven’t already figured it out, spoilers lie ahead.

The global coronavirus pandemic delayed “The Walking Dead” Season 10 finale from seeing the light of day, but AMC finally unveiled the action packed episode on Sunday, October 4. Actually, this episode will no longer serve as the finale as it was recently announced Season 10 would be expanded by an additional six episodes. So this installment, “A Certain Doom,” simply serves as the epic conclusion to The Whisperer War.
Beta (Ryan Hurst) has trapped the survivors in a hospital by surrounding them with a horde of thousands of zombies. It’s an impossible scenario for the scrappy team, but as Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) points out: the efforts of the united communities combine to make “a mighty fist.” See the top six moments from “A Certain Doom” below, as “mighty fist” meets walker herd.

There’s not a lot to “The Tower.” It serves mainly to introduce Juanita Sanchez (Paola Lázaro), aka Princess — whose spotlight here indicates she’ll be sticking around for the near future — and set up the (hopefully) final fight between the communities and the Whisperers, now led by an increasingly erratic Beta. Both of these storylines are perfectly serviceable in the moment, but it’s hard to judge their full merit before seeing how they’ll play out. “The Tower” ultimately finds its merit in smaller, more intimate moments, as several characters with unresolved tension finally get to talk it out. These conversations are necessary and largely successful, but there’s not enough meat on the bone to make the episode a complete success.
Let’s start with Princess, who is… a lot. Granted, that’s by design — she’s been living on her own for ages and was apparently...

‘The Walking Dead’ episode 12 recap: Top 7 epic moments from ‘Walk With Us’ include a shocking twist
It’s hard to believe that “The Walking Dead” still has four more episodes left in Season 10. Because Episode 12, “Walk With Us” was jam packed with epic moments that it felt like a season finale. Homes burn, battles rage, and main characters meet their maker. These are the seven most epic moments from “Walk With Us.”
The Battle of Hilltop
The fighters on the frontline of the battle have managed to retreat inside Hilltop’s walls, but flames engulf the entire town. Carol (Melissa McBride) picks off walkers from her archer tower, but the horde is overwhelming. Zombies pour through a massive hole burned through the central gate and shielded warriors do their best to contain the breach. Ezekiel (Khary Payton) gathers the children and ushers them to an exit, but Judith (Cailey Fleming) has gone missing. The “little ass kicker” is taking out a group of the undead with her sword,...

Dread is in the air on “The Walking Dead.” The Whisperers drain tree sap into strange molds. Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) dons a new zombie skin mask and helps lead The Whisperers’ horde on a march to war. Hilltop is the target and its citizens have no idea just how unrelenting the enemy will be. When Lydia (Cassady McClincy) arrives with a wounded Daryl (Norman Reedus) she offers a stern warning: “You can’t go out there. My mother is coming.” Is this the end of Hilltop? Dive into the Top 5 moments of Season 10, Episode 11, “Morning Star,” as the community prepares for battle.
Fight or Flight
Mary’s (Thora Birch) presence ignites tensions at Hilltop, with Earl (John Finn) refusing to let her see the nephew he is now raising as his own child. Earl is aggressively in favor of defending his home against The Whisperers when others advocate for fleeing.

Well, that was unexpected.
Siddiq (Avi Nash), still suffering from ever-worsening panic attacks, is able to pull himself together enough to realize that Alexandria’s plague is being caused by tainted water — due to a switched handle in the purification system and not from Gamma’s (Thora Birch) zombie dam, as previously theorized — and since Siddiq’s in charge of the water systems with Eugene (Josh McDermitt) gone, he blames himself. Dante (Juan Javier Cardenas) comes by to give him a pep talk and clicks his tongue in a distinct manner, causing Siddiq to realize that Dante is a Whisperer. In fact, he’s the one who forced Siddiq to watch as Alpha (Samantha Morton) beheaded his friends. Dante figures out Siddiq is onto him, they have a brief scuffle, and Dante strangles Siddiq, presumably to death.

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “The Walking Dead” Season 10, Episode 5, “What It Always Is.”]
It’s tempting to praise “What It Always Is” simply because of how busy it gets. Most “Walking Dead” episodes move like molasses, but this week’s entry has no less than four significant plot threads going, which at least keeps the pace pulsing. Unfortunately, all but one of those threads have major problems, with its most significant entry — Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) gets a new acolyte — being particularly dire. The upside: Episode 5 sets the stage for more compelling developments next week, but it’s a hard road getting there. The cracks in this season are just getting wider.
Last week I noted that “The Walking Dead” is always more interesting when it explores its heroes’ fallibility, as paranoia about the Whisperers leads to unrest in both Hilltop and Alexandria. Of course, it’s not paranoia if they’re really out to get you,...

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “The Walking Dead,” Season 10, Episode 4, “Silence the Whisperers.”]
To its credit, “Silence The Whisperers” is the most thematically interesting episode of the season so far, arguing that it wouldn’t take much of a push for the communities’ new society to descend into chaos, as everyone works themselves up into a frenzy about the Whisperers. Also, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) finally gets some attention this week, sharing some tender moments with Michonne (Danai Gurira), which is a surprisingly fresh pairing on this show, considering how long both characters have been around.
Of course, this is still “The Walking Dead,” so a lot of this material is pretty ham-fisted and cartoonish, and the season still doesn’t have much in the way of narrative drive. But we’ll hand out some points for effort.

“We Are The End of The World” is split into two distinct parts, one far more successful than the other. First there’s a flashback to seven years ago, where Alpha (Samantha Morton) and Lydia (Cassady McClincy) happen upon a certain hulking, masked man-beast. Then in the present, we finally get to know a few other Whisperers and learn that Alpha’s hold on her pack is more tentative than we realized. Those hoping for the season to gain a little more narrative momentum after last week’s pokey premiere will be disappointed, but good news for those who wanted to see that satellite re-enter the atmosphere again!

One of the recurring themes of “The Walking Dead” Season 10 appears to be the concept of villainy. In the season premiere, Aaron (Ross Marquand) asked Michonne (Danai Gurira) whether they were the bad guys in other people’s stories, which she later debunked. Now in the second episode, Beta (Ryan Hurst) tells Alpha (Samantha Morton) that their group of Whisperers is “far from the enemy.” Um, okay, just keep telling yourselves that. No, you didn’t accidentally click on a “Game of Thrones” piece. “The Walking Dead” beat the HBO epic to the punch by introducing a ferocious blizzard in the Season 9 finale, “The Storm.” Although ten cast members were killed off last week, the suffering isn’t over for the survivors. Ezekiel (Khary Payton) narrates the opening sequence over the radio system and viewers learn that the pipes finally exploded at The Kingdom, with fires destroying much of the infrastructure. The Kingdom has fallen, and its inhabitants must brave brutal conditions as they journey to find sanctuary at The Hilltop. These are the top five moments from “The Storm.”

[Editor’s note: The following contains spoilers for “The Walking Dead” Season 9 Episode 16, “The Storm.”]
This Season On “The Walking Dead”
It’s been an oddly successful season of “The Walking Dead,” despite the many narrative stops-and-starts baked in to accommodate various “new beginnings” (both in-story and on the creative side with new showrunner Angela Kang) as well as the departure of two major characters. When your season has three time-jumps, things are clearly being shaken up, and while the initial jump forward of the premiere sought to put some distance between the Seasons 7 and 8, the departure of Andrew Lincoln meant that the opening episodes of Season 9 were all dedicated to setting up Rick’s send off, only to ultimately see him shuffled off for a movie or two, rather than the cataclysmic death the audience expected. Then came the Whisperers, and the fair, and the heads on pikes, and everything went to hell. Now one more (small-ish) time jump later,...

“Happy Anniversary” says new Hilltop member Hilde to her husband Miles. The penultimate episode of “The Walking Dead” Season 9 leads viewers to believe that this happy couple will become series mainstays. But as we chart their relationship through years of anniversaries, their stay on the show is cut short. On the way to the fair, their cart winds up overturned, Hilde’s cache of cute Hilltop pendants strewn across the forest floor. The couple is dead, murdered by Alpha (Samantha Morton). This brutal episode expands upon this opening montage, as joyous characters are destroyed by the end credits. These are the five most shocking moments from “The Calm Before.”
The Charter
Everyone unites at the fair. Ezekiel (Khary Payton) gives a rousing speech about joining to celebrate their accomplishments and friendships. Not everyone is in a celebratory mood however, particularly Tara (Alanna Masterson). She’s angry Lydia (Cassady McClincy) was granted asylum by Alexandria.

The death toll on “The Walking Dead” Season 9 has been staggering. Gregory (Xander Berkeley) was executed. Jesus (Tom Payne) was murdered. Saviors were gunned down and burned alive. In addition, main cast members Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan were written out of the series. My “walker-sense” is tingling and telling me there will be more bloodshed before the season finale, which is scheduled to air March 31 on AMC.

With the ruthless Alpha (the Emmy-worthy Samantha Morton) on the prowl, Team Family should be quaking in their boots. We’ve watched Alpha murder her own people, abuse her daughter, and abandon a baby to the zombies. It stands to reason that a major conflict will erupt during the last two episodes of the season, and not everyone will survive. After all, the series has...

Season 9 of “The Walking Dead” dangled plenty of unanswered questions after the six-year time jump. And in Episode 14, “Scars,” the horrifying truth to Alexandria’s isolationist policies are finally unearthed. The flashback heavy hour mostly follows Michonne (Danai Gurira) as she suffers through an emotional gauntlet in past and present. After the explosion at the bridge, we see Michonne search for any sign of Rick’s body, only finding his abandoned Colt Python revolver. It’s here when she admits that she can no longer stomach being alone, but the events of the episode will teach her to shut out those around her. Here are the five most memorable moments from “Scars.”
Deja Vu
Daryl (Norman Reedus) arrives at Alexandria’s gate after the battle with the Whisperers. Michonne is hesitant to let the group in due to Lydia’s (Cassady McClincy) presence, but she trusts Daryl and Henry (Matt Lintz) needs medical attention.

The fair is almost here. Season 9 of “The Walking Dead” is galloping towards this moment, where in theory, all four united communities will gather together for the first time in years. Homemade banners (reminiscent of house banners from “Game of Thrones”) for each community are even unfurled in The Kingdom in celebration. But the road to this festive occasion proves fraught. Some survivors are pursued by Whisperers, while others encounter a strange new group. Check out the five most memorable moments of “Chokepoint.”
