Pat pushes a tall chest of drawers in front of his bedroom door so he won't leave the room if he sleepwalks. However, when he does sleepwalk later, the door is not blocked and Pat was not shown moving the chest back.
While Jamie is wearing the breathing apparatus, she sneezes and reaches for a tissue. As she ties to blow her nose, she realizes she can't and her reflection in the chamber window doesn't match her actual hand movements.
Around 11'11" when Pat is in the basement and gives Quentin the measuring tape; Quentin has his right hand resting on the side near the leg's calf and closer to the floor. However, on the next immediate cut, the hand has changed orientation and is now resting on top of the leg. Then on the next immediate cut after that, the hand changes orientation again and is now resting on the left hand.
Jamie and Paul go on a carriage ride, with a spare horse tied to the back of the carriage. They pass through a gated fence, then come to a standstill for a scene. They get off the carriage and Paul kisses Jamie. Jamie rebuffs Paul and she walks to the carriage and Paul goes to the back of the carriage. But at this point, the carriage (which had never been backed up) is now backed up against the fence and the horse is no longer tied to the back of the carriage. The camera goes solely to Jamie (now sitting in the carriage) then to Jamie in the carriage and Paul (now suddenly) on horseback. It could be argued that Paul mounted his horse when the camera was solely on Jamie, BUT no one ever untied the horse from the back of carriage and the carriage was never actually backed up against the fence after it passed (moving only forward) through the gate.
Pat tests his oxygen mask in Washington on a centrifuge and the other scientists seem to correlate altitude with spin rate of the centrifuge. A centrifuge is used to expose someone to g-forces which has nothing to do with altitude and oxygen depletion. In order test his mask to provide oxygen at high altitude, he would need to use a chamber that can control atmospheric pressure to simulate the effects of flying at high altitude. The use of a centrifuge for this testing is nonsense.
When Quentin joins the navy, he shows up in dress blues. First, no uniforms are issued until boot camp. Secondly, dress uniforms are not issued until the navy is sure you are going to graduate from boot camp. Boot camp was six to eight weeks long, but Quentin had only been missing for three days according to Kitty.
Just prior to Pat Jamieson blacking out in the test of his oxygen mask, he says, "Jamie. Jamie." The next line, "We made it," was dubbed in later - his lips don't move.
Pat pushes a tall chest of drawers in front of his bedroom door so he won't leave the room if he sleepwalks. A stagehand can be seen on the other side of the dresser helping him move it.
A moving shadow of the boom microphone is visible on the wall in the background as flower girl Gloria Grahame makes her exit.
Kitty Trimble tells Cousin Quentin that Paul Carrell wants to rent the house, while Quentin earlier told Pat Jamieson that Jamie, the owner, definitely wanted to sell - not rent - the house.
