- Super-spy Flint takes on a cabal of women plotting to rule the world.
- Flint is again called out of retirement when his old boss finds that he seems to have missed three minutes while golfing with the president. Flint finds that the president has been replaced by an actor (Flint's line [with a wistful look] is "An Actor as President?") Flint finds that a group of women have banded together to take over the world through subliminal brainwashing in beauty salons they own.—John Vogel <jlvogel@comcast.net>
- ZOWIE (Zonal Organization for World Intelligence and Espionage), a US government program led by Lloyd C. Cramden, reaches a new milestone with the first ever manned space platform in orbit, it the beginning of what is to be a fully functioning international scientific research station. Cramden wants his old friend and subordinate, retired spy, and ladies and Renaissance man Derek Flint to investigate when he thinks something is not right as there are three minutes out of his life for which he cannot account during golf with US President Trent. While Flint does not think the request urgent in he off to do scientific research of his own in South America, he changes his mind to investigate immediately when non-ladies man Cramden is subsequently caught in a sex scandal into which he does not know how he got, resulting in President Trent suspending him until further investigation solely in the potential threat to the program. Flint believes someone or some people are trying to discredit Cramden, and on initial investigation tells Cramden to trust no one in the program in knowing there to be an unknown mole. If Flint gets to the truth, he will indeed discover more than one mole, they put in place by a group of women whose goal is not only to take over ZOWIE and the space program but in the process the world in their belief that men have done a rotten job. If it gets to that point, it may be a proverbial battle between the goals of the women and Flint's irresistible charms to them, that is unless there are other factors in play.—Huggo
- You have to watch this with tongue firmly in cheek. I feel the Flint movies are the best satire of the James Bond superspy motif. This is the second movie but obviously can enjoy it without having seen first. Patently ridiculous plot about secret organization taking over the world, but who is it and why?? Women have joined together and using beauty spas have been serrupticiously hypnotizing women around the world. I think one of the funniest jokes is one I missed first time I watched it: the names of the three male scientist who joined with women to conquer the world...small joke but type of thing this movie has in it all over the place that a lot of time is I think is missed because so much of rest of movie is "over the top," as you might say.
