What convinced Sarath Kumar and Gautham Menon that this was ever a movie worth considering? I could call it amateur trash and leave it be, but I'm compelled to say more about a movie that wasted 2 hours of my time with sheer incompetence and stupidity. Poor in all aspects; technical and visual, the movie has ZERO redeeming qualities about it and it's just an embarrassment happening in real time. I have no idea who the lead actor is, or why he was chosen as the lead actor, but this guy's acting skills are as trash as the movie itself and it's just 125 minutes of pain and second hand embarrassment. Don't watch this, but if you do, be sure to do your part as a good citizen and bully the hell out of it.

Worse movie, all good actors wasted talent. Hero acting is so bad cannot sit until end. Famous director son is the only reason he acted. Walked out of theater did not care who the mask guy is. Mainly I was intetestes in Ravikumar assistant.direction but not expect this, may be hero father spent money. Sarathkumar, Samuthragani, Gowtham menon talents wasted why they agreed to this movie is good questin. Hero acting most places was very bas I can do better job. Story some place is very childish not sire how Ravikumae sir approved black mark for his career. This is easy role for hero with no emirion required for hero still manage to act bad. Thank god not an emotiomal love story.

"Hitlist" emerges as a compelling thriller with intriguing suspense elements that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The film delivers a commendable twist at its climax, one that is both well-executed and genuinely surprising, adding depth to the storyline. Despite being a debutant, Vijay Kanishka shines brightly in the lead role, displaying a level of maturity and charisma that belies his newcomer status. His action sequences are particularly noteworthy for their realism, injecting a raw energy into the narrative. Kanishka's performance is further elevated by his convincing portrayal, showcasing his potential as a promising talent in the industry.
However, the film does encounter some pacing issues in its second half, where the narrative seems to drag slightly. This slowdown could potentially be attributed to the extensive use of flashback sequences, which, while providing necessary context, might benefit from tighter editing to maintain the overall momentum of the plot. Despite this minor setback, the supporting cast delivers solid performances, contributing to the film's overall strength. The ensemble effectively complements Kanishka's lead, creating a cohesive on-screen dynamic that enhances the viewing experience.
While the film succeeds in its suspenseful elements and character portrayals, the music score falls short of fully capturing the intensity and mood of pivotal moments. Although serviceable, the soundtrack lacks the memorable hooks or atmospheric nuances that could have heightened the emotional impact of key scenes. Nevertheless, "Hitlist" remains a compelling watch on OTT platforms, offering audiences a satisfying thriller experience in recent times. Its strengths lie in its well-crafted suspense, unexpected plot twists, and the impressive debut of Vijay Kanishka, making it a noteworthy addition to the genre.

Enjoyed this movie recently. I love thriller films, I wish I watched this in the theatre. Vijay Kanishka had aced the role. Carried the movie well till the climax. Sarathkumar played a decent cop role. Gautham Vasudev menon's portion could have been extended. Few logic mistakes here and there. They could have focused more on the way of the narration. Samuthirakani was convincing in his role. A very daring subject for a new hero. Very few hero's playing versatile roles recently. Hopefully Vijay continues his good work. Music was okay. The mask man role was portrayed well. The voice over gave good impact for the character. If you are looking for a good psychothriller, you should watch Hit List.

The movie starts off with a tip of the iceberg screenplay, but takes a quick establishment into the world of Master and slave encounter of witty thrills and setup of a psychotic mask man and a mum hero! Vijay stands out with a commendable debut performance. With racy screenplay after 25 minutes, this is a definite watch to fill your urge for a popcorn worthy flick!
The other supporting characters give a huge push to the story and hero!
A vigilante trying to curb up the system is dramatically and interestingly told in a thrilling way!
Music was okayish! The production design could have been more better!
In the end, totally a worth of a film.

In the world of cinema, where new faces and talents constantly emerge, Vijay Kanishka stands out as a promising new hero. His performance is one of the film's highlights, adding depth and authenticity to the character he portrays. His ability to convey a range of emotions, from intense dramatic scenes to lighter, more humorous moments, demonstrates his versatility as an actor. It's clear to me that Vijay Kanishka has a bright future ahead of him in the film industry.
The film is replete with unexpected twists and turns that keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The background music plays a crucial role in setting the tone and atmosphere of various scenes. However, there are instances where the music falls short of its potential. A more dynamic and fitting score could have elevated the emotional resonance of key moments.
Overall, the film is a strong showcase for Vijay Kanishka's talents and has several elements that make it a worthwhile watch. The unexpected twists and strong acting performances are its standout features. With some improvements in scene transitions and a more dynamic background score, the film could have achieved an even greater impact. Nonetheless, it remains a testament to the potential of its cast and crew.

I watched the movie in Prime recently. Interesting thriller subject, with a good twist in the climax. Great casting. Actors have nailed their roles. The fight sequences are realistic. Enjoyed watching an action side of Gautham vasudev menon. The hero Viajy Kanishka doesn't seem like a first film hero. Realistic performance. Scored well in the emotional scenes. The background score drops in some places. Second half is lagging in between. But the climax twist again elevates. For anyone who likes this genre, this is a good watch. I watched the film in Telugu. But, since the original language is in Tamil, I rewatched in tamil again. Good script, good film overall.
