So I started to remake the battle system.

It was just messy and while it worked it had a lot of areas that could be improved.

So I made a blank project and I'm making just the battle system again. Then I'm going to plug it back into the main game.

I'm going to reference the old version to make it have all the good parts but also more expandable and less Code Pasta

Fairly big update today! I have some powers, we have combat that results in everyone dying, and a chance of an undead attack!

Here is the progress I've made so far. The people wander around. I've added the trees, the house, the cursor and the demons.

The demons don't do anything yet but walk around.

Here is the first screenshot of my new project. It has no content. This is the beginning of something. Maybe. I'm revisiting a game I did like 10 years ago and want to try to basically remake it and expand it. Just for fun.

Just Dexl climbing in to say he can do that now. To think I've been working on this for over a decade and he could never climb a ladder.

WIP on level 12 for Gamblar's Balloon Ride.

This is super early concepting. Just building the general idea.

My plan is for there to be random buildings going by in the foreground of these backdrop buildings.

The buildings will signal different threats. Some will have search lights, some will have weapons on the top that fire at you etc..

I'm going to start posting all my doodles on a different blog and keep this one closer to game development stuff. Even though I was drawing characters from the game. Just seems better to separate it.

Here's the boys in Brightburg Prison playing cards.

Chance likes to play with the Dicebots!

Just trying to draw her doing a bunch doing wacky antics around the Casino and slowly refine her design.

Another Chance sketch today.
