Lisa Meagher

Lisa is an award winning Costume designer for film and television . Lisa has most recently completed costume design for the upcoming 'Bay of Fires ' Produced by Fremantle / Archipelago productions and ABC television shot in North west Tasmania . A dark comedy starring Marta Dusseldorp, Toby Leonard - Moore and Kerry Fox. Previously she designed 'The Secrets she Keeps 2' for Lingo Pictures series - a 6 part psychological thriller with Laura Carmichael and Jessica De Gouw . She was Costume designer on See Saw films / Foxtel television series "The End' with Frances O'Connor and Harriet Walter leading the cast . She has won 2 APDG awards and 3 AACTA nominations for her detailed and nuanced work on the acclaimed period drama 'A Place to Call Home ' Seasons 2 - 6 for Foxtel / Ch 7 . Other design credits for television include 'Redfern Now 2' and 'Redfern Now' Telemovie 'Promise Me ' both for Blackfella films. Also the award winning and popular series 'Packed to the Rafter's' for Network 7. Lisa has designed the costumes for feature films including Tony McNamara's "The Rage in Placid Lake " with Rose Byrne and Ben Lee , Miranda Richardson. 'The Man who Sued God ' with Billy Connolly and Judy Davis She has also designed set and costumes for theatre productions at the Belvoir St Theatre , MTC and ATYP . Over the years she has worked with many directors including Rachel Perkins, Wayne Blair, Jen Leacey, Tony McNamara, Natalie Bailey, Jeremy Simms, Shirley Barrett, Catherine Millar, Kriv Stenders,Tony McNamara ,Mark Joffe , Jonathan Borough , Cherie Nowland , Steve Beck , Paul Goldman and Tony Krawitz.
