Daniela Mangialardo
- Actress
Shortly after returning from Italy, Daniela Mangialardo started her
acting career with the intentions of entering the modeling industry in
September of 2002. After taking the first steps to becoming a model she
quickly realized that she would enjoy acting more. Acting would be more
challenging and rewarding in the long run. Her first taste of acting
came along when her first acting coach, Ray Szuch with North Coast
Central Casting in Cleveland, Ohio, introduced her to an opportunity to
be an extra in an independent film called "Martians from Venus". It was
only a role as an audience member, but she soon realized that being in
front of the camera is where she was meant to be.
Soon after her first role as an extra she landed a few more similar roles in "Will Work for Food", "Mullee", "Fight Time" and "Open Mic Night". Then came an opportunity for two significant roles as the lead characters in the plays produced and written by Fred Taylor titled "Memorial" and "Last of the Sorcerers", which were held at the Powerhouse in Cleveland.
Fresh off her experience in the plays mentioned above she moved onto starring as a lead actress in the independent films "A Way Out", a silent film, where she played the role of a battered girlfriend seeking revenge on her abuser, "The Last Straw" where she starred as a hot-looking, butt-kicking chick who demands some respect, and "Pizza the Movie" where she played the role of a ruthless competitive pizza delivery girl who ends up showing her softer side by the end of the film. She is currently working on her new lead role in an action movie written and directed by Bill Alexander titled, "Dead Silent", where she plays a hearing impaired girl who witnesses a murder and is chased down and uses her martial arts knowledge to try to fight off the murderer.
Daniela is quickly making a name for herself in the acting industry and soon plans to conquer the world of entertainment with her talent and experience.
