Ke Huy Quan Took His Fanny-Pack Combat Training For Everything Everywhere All At Once Very Seriously
One of the most rewarding things to come out of the phenomenal success of "Everything Everywhere All At Once" is witnessing the glorious renaissance of actor Ke Huy Quan.
A24's highest grossing film is an engrossing action fantasy that transports Quan's character Waymond Wang and his family into a world-saving expedition spread across multiple dimensions. At its heart, "Everything Everywhere" is really all about possibilities. After his stellar performance, Quan has a seemingly endless number of options and his career could go in a number of different directions. For now, Quan will be seen next in season 2 of "Loki," which is rather fitting since the Marvel series also deals with the myriad of possibilities within the multiverse.

Timothy Eulich is a bit overwhelmed by the response to "Everything Everywhere All at Once." When the stunt coordinator was working on the film, he knew it was unique, but his immense gratification with the end result and the hugely positive response was palpable during a recent interview with him. "The Daniels really do an amazing job of tricking you into thinking that you're watching some candy popcorn movie, and then all of a sudden you're deeply, emotionally touched," he told us. "It's like, 'This is so exciting. I'm crying. What is happening? This is a yo-yo of emotions.'"

Having two action experts in the starring roles helped stunt coordinator Timothy Eulich make mayhem in “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” which features Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan jumping through a manic multiverse created by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the directing duo known as the Daniels.
In the A24 film, now in theaters, Yeoh plays Evelyn, a laundromat owner and mother who navigates the changing scenarios to save her family, including Quan as her husband, Waymond, and ends up with a new outlook on life and love. Key props: a fanny pack that’s used as a martial arts weapon and a butt plug-shaped IRS Auditor of the Year trophy that’s a portal to other dimensions.
Eulich, who has collaborated with the Daniels for 11 years, including on 2016’s “Swiss Army Man,” is familiar with their M.O. He spent several weeks working with them to visualize the scenes.

The camera loves Channing Tatum, and that makes up for a lot in “Dog,” a corny road movie that mostly panders to fans of Tatum and/or dogs, as well as any moviegoer who still thinks that making a big show of supporting the troops (any troops) makes them more human than, uh, most everyone else.
Tatum plays Army Ranger Jackson Briggs, a selfish but irrepressible grunt who travels along the Pacific coast (from Washington to Arizona) with Lulu, an aggressive but misunderstood Army dog who’s scheduled to be put down after she makes a guest appearance at her dead handler’s funeral.
Briggs’ needlessly defensive everyman personality holds “Dog” back from being as good as its high-concept premise. Thankfully, Tatum, who co-directed the movie with screenwriter and producer Reid Carolin (“Magic Mike Xxl”), mostly gets by on-screen charisma alone, since he and his collaborators give his character ample...

This story contains spoilers for True Blood 7.10, the series finale.
You have been warned - unless you know how True Blood ends already, please don't scroll below our spoiler squirrel Daphne for some spoilery discussion from the showrunner.
So, the final episode of vampire drama True Blood ended in a way many fans might not have expected – with Anna Paquin’s Sookie opting for neither man from the show’s central love-triangle.
Instead of Bill or Eric, Sookie ended up with an unnamed and unseen suitor, played by stuntman Tim Eulich. Despite this completely being her character’s choice, and arguably a nice subversion to expectations, certain sections of the internet were left disappointed by the decision.
Showrunner Brian Buckner has stood to his guns, though, opting not to apologise. "I don’t think there was a...

The following interview contains many spoilers about the True Blood series finale. Proceed with caution — or come back after you’ve gotten around to watching the episode. Who was that man sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner next to a pregnant Sookie Stackhouse in the series finale of True Blood? All we know is that he has a beard and seems to be making our favorite telepathic waitresses happy, so we’ve taken to calling him Mr. Faceless Beard Guy and Mr. Sookie Stackhouse. Showrunner Brian Buckner told reporters yesterday that the character was intended to be an everyman whose identity was irrelevant; he also said that, to cast the role, they chose “the man with the best arms from our stunt crew.” It turns out that those anonymous arms belong to actor/stunt performer Timothy Eulich, and Vulture tracked him down for a quick chat about getting the gig and...
