Steve Lofthouse(II)

He was born in Winchester to a Naval Father, with grandfathers in the other two services. Schooled in London and Norfolk concentrating in Organic Chemistry then Engineering, followed by Structural construction but always open to fresh chances and adventures. After being on set for several well known feature films while he was a Production and Contracts manager and then an International Courier for many years. He went back to Norwich University College of the Arts (now NUA ) during this time He produced two 20min documentaries for East meets East; the Soft arts and the Martial arts of Japan, screened at the BBC. Then worked as Location Manager, as well as several other posts, on 'The Power' by Paul Hills a Feature Film, Gaining the Nickname of 'the Magician' [see website], followed by several shorts, Producing, Directing and DOP. Some being chosen for festival screening. while this was happening, alongside getting a degree, He filmed a few pitch shorts for Chronicles, assisted and encouraged many young up and coming Cinematographers making features and short films, (which is always a pleasure), also setting up CotD Films and TV, while encouraging a few writers/ directors in London to make their films here in Norfolk, as well as assisting Creative England's I features to make 'Norfolk' in 2013. At present He has 3 features in preproduction and pitch, one in production,and 3 in association with other companies 2014 Feb.
