This was Buster Crabbe's final released film before his death on April 23, 1983 at the age of 75, although it was filmed long before Crabbe's last-filmed roles, The Alien Dead (1980) and Swim Team (1979).
In Starlog magazine #3, January 1977, Crabbe said "The film has a lot of laughs in it, but I don't want to see it released until three scenes, which I feel are inappropriate, are taken out."
