WebVR offers many exciting ways for brands to connect with their customers. It is now possible to publish VR experiences on the Web and make them instantly accessible to anyone owning a VR headset.
This project is the result of a collaboration between Little Workshop, Renault (the #1 car maker in France), and Oculus. The experience takes place inside KADJAR, the all-new SUV by Renault. Put on your VR headset, and get in the driver's seat! Inside the VR headset, you can explore every detail of the interior, learn about its features, as well as configure some parts of the car.
Our studio was responsible for the entire development of the experience, as well as the production of all graphical assets. In addition, we designed the user experience and interfaces. All put together, our work included many different tasks: from optimizing models for real-time, to creating high-fidelity PBR textures, to developing configuration and user interaction features.
With this demo, we hope to have given an example of how WebVR could be used for real-world commercial purposes.
