Anime starting in Winter 1982/1983

An anime about Operation Castle and the demise of the crew on the Daigo Fukuryuu Maru (S.S. Lucky Dragon 5). On March 1st 1954, a hydrogen bomb went off (that ended up being 1000 times more powerful than to the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima). The radioactive ash fell on the crew, poisoning them.

The anime deviates into fantasy as the ash also affected the marine life--that talk and wear human clothing and is the main focus of the movie; how the radioactive ash affected the talking fish.

12-year-old Annette was born into a poor family in Switzerland. Together with her family she lives in a small village in the Alps. She is a sweet girl and dearly loves her little 5-year-old brother Dani, at whose birth their mother died. She also has a best friend, Lucien. Her wonderful friendship with him comes to a crisis when one day Dani gets injured in a terrible accident, which Lucien was unwillingly responsible for, and develops a limp.

The happy days turn into a long period of suffering and now Annette has to find strength in her heart to forgive, while Lucien must find a way to prove Annette and the other villagers that he is also a person. And his greatest wish is to find a cure for little Dani, whatever that would cost him, in the name of friendship. And so, little by little Annette and Lucien regain their lost friendship.

The original is an impressive sports manga featuring not heroes, but common boys, and the story depicts the growth of Sumiya 2 junior high school baseball team (the successive captains and players) in downtown Tokyo. Takao Taniguchi, who was a substitute player of the second team of Aoba Gakuin, a prestigious junior high school in the baseball world, but he transferred to Sumiya 2 and he became the captain of the baseball club. After steady training, the team try to do a final game in the regional preliminaries, against Aoba Gakuin.

This chronicles the misadventures of Donmatsu, a dog with the special ability of reading, writing, and being able to speak/communicate with humans. From helping stray dogs escape to falling in love with a restaurant owner's dog.

Crushers: intergalactic Jacks-of-All-Trades who will take on any assignment for the right price. Crusher Joe heads a small team of these outer space troubleshooters that includes the cyborg Talos, the beautiful Alfin, and the obligatory kid sidekick Ricky. A routine assignment escorting a cryogenically frozen heiress to a medical facility goes awry when the girl goes missing and Joe and his team are left holding the bag. It seems space pirates are trying to play the Crushers for patsies, but Joe doesn't take kindly to the setup and tracks the pirates to their home world. The four heroes not only have to rescue their human cargo but take down the pirates in the process, which involves a heck of a lot of space dogfights, explosions, and good old-fashioned hand-to-hand combat.

Aesop is a trouble-making young boy who finds himself in another world filled with creatures he has never believed to exist, such as fairies and talking donkeys. He sets off to find a way back to the human world; on his journey, he befriends many characters from well-known fables and encounters many trials, each teaching him a valuable lesson.
