Hellhounds are demon dogs residing in Hell.
History[]
A hellhound named Marchosias was "rescued" from hell by Gary Green and taken to the Waverider. Marchosias tried to get the Legends to kill themselves; but he was discovered and sent to hell; by John Constantine.[1]

- Mind control: Though in the form of a terrier, Marchosias was able to convey malevolent desires and thoughts to the Legends. The target would hear the commands and suggestions, while others only heard a dog's barking. The power of the control was dependent on the will of the target; Sara Lance proved resilient enough to resist.[1]
- Fire immunity: Laughing that he was from Hell, Marchosias easily shrugged off an attack from Heatwave's gun.[1]
- Shape-shifting: Though he was in Hell, Marchosias had the appearance of a terrier instead of his natural form. He continued this disguise until it was no longer beneficial and his true form was needed for more offensive power.[1]
- Immortality: Hellhounds are immortals.[1]
Weaknesses[]
- Banishing spell: For Constantine's spell to work, he needed to know the real name of the demon; fortunately, Astra knew its real name, causing the hellhound to return to Hell.[1]
