Scale their electronic signing process
Syncfusion, a global leader in software development, developed BoldSign when it couldn’t find an eSignature solution for a reasonable price that also fulfilled all its requirements for such an application. The new BoldSign team consulted the departments that used eSignature software most often for the features they wanted and developed a truly excellent program accordingly. However, the true test came in implementation.
By the time BoldSign was ready, Syncfusion needed to scale and improve its human resources (HR) department even more than it had when the BoldSign team started development. It was managing over 1,500 employees worldwide, which meant a lot of signatures were required! It was the perfect department to begin integration.
Syncfusion’s HR department grappled with slow, labor-intensive processes, primarily due to manual document handling and approvals. The substantial time spent on printing, distributing, and scanning documents led to delays in employee onboarding and routine HR tasks.
Moreover, managing a the vast amount of paper documents resulted in high costs and posed environmental concerns. The absence of automated reminders and follow-ups further complicated document tracking and compliance processes, affecting overall workflow efficiency.
BoldSign was integrated into Syncfusion’s existing HR systems, leading to an immediate enhancement in document processing speed and accuracy. The transition to a paperless system saved costs and aligned with Syncfusion’s overall environmental and sustainability goals.
The platform’s user-friendly interface, which had been a priority request from the HR team, allowed HR staff to adopt the platform quickly. BoldSign’s automated reminders and validation features significantly reduced errors and follow-up times, streamlining onboarding and ongoing HR processes.
Before BoldSign, HR team members spent approximately five hours a week tracking document statuses and sending reminders. With BoldSign, this time was reduced to virtually zero, thanks to automated notifications ensuring timely document completion.
BoldSign reduced errors like missing signatures or incorrect information by 90% with features like automatic field validation and signature tracking.
Enabling electronic submissions and evaluations also streamlined the performance review process. Previously, compiling and reviewing performance documents took around four hours per employee per review cycle—at minimum, that’s 6,000 hours per review cycle. With BoldSign, this time was cut in half, allowing for more frequent and comprehensive performance assessments.
