We were proud to participate in the IFHE International Conference 2024 – Patient Centered Healthcare Engineering Design in South Africa. Kevin Cassidy, our Market Lead - Health & Science, joined WSP colleagues from around the globe to deliver two insightful presentations. The conference provided an inspiring opportunity to learn about innovative strategies being implemented worldwide and to explore how these global insights can be adapted to advance healthcare infrastructure here in Canada.

We had the privilege of engaging with key clients and industry leaders at the Toronto Global Forum, hosted by the International Economic Forum of the Americas. Through insightful discussions at our exclusive event and meaningful interactions throughout the forum, we explored global challenges faced by businesses today and collaborated on strategies for a sustainable future. We had the pleasure of engaging in meaningful conversations with our valued clients, partners, and collaborators at the Canadian Dam Association / L’Association canadienne des barrages conference last month.  Our team had the privilege of leading a highly attended session focused on the technical aspects of the Little Long Dam safety project.  A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a successful event, and congratulations to our team on their well-deserved wins. #WeAreWSP

Today, we honor both the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, a time to reflect, learn, and take action. At WSP, we stand in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples, recognizing the deep scars left by the Residential School system and the generational trauma still felt today. This day calls on each of us to not only remember the past but also to be active participants in supporting Truth and Reconciliation. Together, we can work towards meaningful change by acknowledging the truths of our shared history, amplifying Indigenous voices, and fostering stronger relationships built on respect, understanding, and collaboration.
