Description |
English: Clementsen was employed as a master at the Royal Danish Navy Construction School at Holmen. He did a number of paintings but never signed them. This one of the 60-gun ship of the line Island (launched 1751) is almost certainly his work. Dansk: Clementsen var ansat som mester ved Konstruktionsskolen på Holmen. Han signerede aldrig sine billeder, men man er ret sikker på, at dette billede af linjeskibet Island (60 kanoner, søsat 1751) er fra hans hånd. |
