ข้อ 4 (ง) ตราหน้าหมวก เป็นรูปอุณาโลม ประดับด้วยช่อชัยพฤกษ์ มีพระมหามงกุฎครอบอุณาโลม ภายใต้อุณาโลมมีข้อความว่า "ไทยต้องเป็นไทย" สำหรับชั้นนายหมวดตรีขึ้นไป ปักด้วยดิ้นทองหรือวัตถุเทียมดิ้นทองเฉพาะอุณาโลมและข้อความให้ปักด้วยไหมสีแดงบนพื้นสักหลาดสีน้ำเงินเข้ม สำหรับชั้นนายหมู่ใหญ่ลงมา ตราหน้าหมวกทำด้วยโลหะสีทอง
