Zu dieser katholischen Einheit des Gottesvolkes, die den allumfassenden Frieden bezeichnet und fördert, sind alle Menschen berufen. Auf verschiedene Weise gehören ihr zu oder sind ihr zugeordnet die katholischen Gläubigen, die anderen an Christus Glaubenden und schließlich alle Menschen überhaupt, die durch die Gnade Gottes zum Heile berufen sind.
