Synopsis for Green Lantern: "Gremlins!"
After saving a spaceship trapped in the sun's gravitational field, Green Lantern returns to Earth and resumes his job as a test pilot for the Elite Design Consultants. Hal decides to leave his ring in the locker, confident that he'll manage to fly without its help. Suddenly, one of the engines fails, and Hal struggles to keep the aircraft from crashing. Against all expectations, Hal manages to land the plane, and the agency moves on to work on the repairs.
Back in his locker room, Hal retrieves his ring and charges it. However, as he finishes his oath, the battery explodes, and a beam of yellow light flies toward space.
