Synopsis for Green Lantern: "Détente"

Captain Atom returns from his latest confrontation with the alien visitor and finds Green Lantern stranded in the Nevada desert with a powerless ring. Both heroes make amends and return to Los Angeles, where Green Lantern finds out his power battery, which he left on a rooftop, has disappeared. While GL retrieves the battery from a group of crooks who stole it, Captain Atom pursues the escaping wooden spacecraft but fails to catch up before the ship leaves the atmosphere.

Captain Atom reunites with Green Lantern and lets him know of the spacecraft's escape. When Green Lantern is about to create a life-support bubble for his partner, Atom lets him go alone, saying that outer space is not his territory. Finally making amends between them, Green Lantern lifts off to pursue the alien.
