Synopsis for "Superboy, Hollywood Actor"
Superboy meets a young Hollywood actor,” Reggie”, and gets the cold shoulder from him. The producer, Mr. Crandon, apologizes for the rude behavior and explains the reason as being Reggie felt Superboy would detract from his own importance. Back at the high school, they were circulating flyers to get someone to audition for the part of the secret identity of Superboy. Mr. Crandon notices Clark Kent and states he would be perfect for the role, although he had been trying to sneak away. He was worried it might reveal his secret identity, but he consents to play the part. There are a few accidents on the set where one actor gets encased in a break-proof glass ball rolling out of control, and a girl is accidentally caught in some real flames because of a mishap on the set, and Superboy comes to their rescue. Reggie was upset and stated they may need to stop the production because this was not in his contract. He eventually himself was nearly hurt by one of the stunt crew men who turned up the voltage on a lightning bolt as Reggie stated to him that he was the real Superboy. And this time, when Superboy saved him from the high voltage, he realized his foolishness and apologized to Superboy. Superboy told him that you should not think of yourself as being important and that actually makes you more important. Earlier, in rescuing the girl, Superboy moved at super speed and even with the motion caused Reggie to pass out by creating a vacuum and sucking the oxygen out of the air. With them wanting to make a publicity photo with the real Superboy, Clark Kent Incognito, and Reggie as Superboy comes up with a plan, where Reggie will dress up as Clark Kent and then Superboy moves at super speed between the two individuals, stopping long enough so appearing that there were two Superboys even though it was really just one. The script ends with no one really believing that Clark Kent played a good role for the double identity of Superboy.

It was about gangs on the street that would eventually lead youth to crime and eventual execution for their crimes. Because Johnny Chambers and Tubby had been missing, their friends were looking for them and someone happened to find a note in a bottle from Cyrus. Johnny Chambers/Quick using his magic formula (3X(9 Y Z) 4A) threw a log spinning so quickly that it created a whirlpool that would not allow the rescue boat to come into the bay. In a dialog that Cyrus had with his dad, he states "People are born as criminals training has nothing to do with it! You're not giving away that island!"
Cyrus is talked into going on an exploration of the island with Johnny Chambers and Tubby. Before they get to the island Johnny quick gets a bunch of clam shells and throws them rather quickly causing a rough sea and the eventual shipwreck of the yacht. They are marooned on the island (as the story opened), and Cyrus doesn't want to do any of the work for their survival, but just to wait for a rescue ship. Johnny Quick had thwarted other rescue attempts, to get Cyrus to use his hands and his mind for survival. Cyrus then states that he is somewhat sorry that he sent the note in the bottle, because now with rescue at hand, he does not want to leave the island. In the end they turned the island into a retreat for a boys to get them off the street and ironically Cyrus states that he has learned to be a different person and appreciate hard work, and learned that he had some undreamed of talents after living like Robinson Crusoe.

Synopsis for "Proving Ground of Peril!"
Oliver Queen and Roy Harper go to visit an old friend Jim Potter, who has a testing and engineering outdoor laboratory or proving ground. Another person, Otto Graff, was there and was working on some details of an upcoming book. Some events happened that put some police actors in trouble and Speedy and Green Arrow had to jump into action to save them from burning flames from their wrecked truck. Later that night, while at their laboratory and looking at their telescreen, they saw an alert about a robbery. They jumped into action in their Arrowcar pursuing the armored vehicle that even had tommy guns. The Arrowcar was damaged in the heist, and Speedy and Green Arrow fixed it so they could take it to the proving grounds and test out their equipment. With their arrival, It seemed like a trap with a canyon closing off around them and dynamite being catapulted towards them. But never fear Speedy and Green Arrow shot their twin arrow deflecting the dynamite and helping them escape. It seemed like their friend might be trying to put an end to them. But after they were captured by the hoodlums, and set up for death traps they managed to escape. Speedy catapulted himself towards the thugs, and risked his life to save Green Arrow, Then Green Arrow moves with great speed and shoots some arrows up to gradually bring Speedy down embracing him and thanking him for his heroism. It turns out it was not their friend Jim that set the traps but Otto Graff did it for thrills and money, not being satisfied with merely writing about crimes.
