The Blackhawks are an organization created by Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to stop apocalyptic threats such as those from the Dark Multiverse.[1][2]
Thought gone, they were impersonated by the League of Assassins using their technology until stopped by Bruce Wayne, upon which they captured Ra's al Ghul before he could escape.[3]
History
Dark Nights: Metal
Learning of a prophecy involving the Wayne Family, Saunders, under the alias of Lady Blackhawk, came to the Justice League when they began investigating the recently appeared Challengers Mountain. Telling Batman of his part in it all, how he was the chosen to unleash Barbatos, they attempted to detain him, without success.[2]

- Blackhawk Squadron was created by Will Eisner, Bob Powell, and Chuck Cuidera, first appearing in Military Comics #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Blackhawk Squadron first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in All-Star Batman #9 by Scott Snyder and Jock.
