Dayla Ranzz is the mother of Lightning Lord, Live Wire and Spark.
History
She has a twin sister named Lilya who has four lazy children.[1] The Ranzz family had two children who became Legionnaires but their eldest son Mekt became the super villain Lightning Lord. The children got their powers from the Lightning Beasts on Korbal. After Garth was presumed dead Dayla's other son Mekt got psychiatric help and returned to his parents home.
Many Winathians looked down on Dayla and her husband Kirth for having a single born child (Mekt) as almost everyone else on Winath was a twin. When Mekt ran away and Garth ran away to go look for him the authorities wondered what made their parents so horrible the boys would run away.[2]
