Synopsis for "Last Days, Part One of Three"

Over Orlando, a plane disappears immediately before landing. It returns five minutes later and some passengers describe having been abducted by aliens. The Challengers of the Unknown arrive and the pilot pleads with Marlon to help clear his name. Edward Sands tells them to visit Brenda on vacation in Pasadena. As they arrive, she is visiting an old professor of hers whose office is ablaze, evidently with Saxon as the arsonist.

As Clay drives to meet her, Kenn finds on the Internet that over a dozen recent cases of disappeared planes are similar to the one in Orlando. Marlon briefly meets Rocky Davis who explains that he is taking back the Challengers name. When the other three Challengers attempt to get to the bottom of the mystery, no one will help them.

Unbeknownst to them, Saxon actually saves their lives from a sniper because he has bigger plans for the investigators. They follow Kenn's reasoning that the plane disappearances all converge on the Mojave Desert and they call Marlon to tell him. Rocky gets distressed and the two decide to save them but the original Challenger refuses to explain.

As their plane descends, a mystery man makes it come down in a shaft of light. Marlon and Rocky are met by the rest of the original Challengers, standing in uniform in the desert.
