Synopsis for "Heroes"
Ten years prior Jason and his parents are enjoying a day at an amusement park.
Back to the present day, Jason and his father argue about their tight money situation and the recent events involving Luis Salvador and Bloodhound until Loraine Reilly rings at the door asking for Jason.
She tells him that she is being sent by Ed Raymond, Ronnie Raymond's father to get information about the new Firestorm and what happened to Ronnie. Really displeased by seeing "one of them" at his door, Jason's father sends Jason away saying that he doesn't belong here anymore.
Going to town, Jason proceed to merge with a homeless man named Fredo to become Firestorm. Flying around, he spots Laura, a woman about to jump from a bridge. He takes her on to safety and she tells him that she has a metagene which makes her cancer untreatable and she only has a month to live. She begs Firestorm to "change" her to remove the cancer. After being convinced to help her, Firestorm explores town looking for someone healthy to copy. He then makes the change and cures "Laura" who then reveals to be Killer Frost.
