Synopsis for "Hard-Traveling Heroes: The Next Generation, Part 1: Family Traditions"

Green Arrow is on patrol in San Francisco and intervenes when a hooker is threatened by four men at once. Arrow is at a disadvantage as one of the guys strikes him down from behind and points a gun at him. But suddenly Green Lantern appears and together both heroes are able to defeat the four thugs with ease.

Kyle explains that he wants to search for his father, who has disappeared from his life since he was a kid, and asks for Connor's help because he grew up without a father as well. Also, both heroes trust each other enough to reveal their secret identities to each other.

Green Arrow arranges a meeting with an informant of his named Eddie Fyers. The man did some research and found an address which is connected to Kyle's dad named Aaron Rayner. Green Lantern and Green Arrow immediately take off and talk about their history while travelling. Also Connor talks about how he approached his father Oliver Queen when they met for the first time. During a break in a diner it comes to an altercation with a sheriff who did not like how two outsiders flirted with his daughter who works as waitress in the restaurant. The heroes are able to handle the situation and a little later they arrive at the address Fyers gave them. Sadly, Aaron Rayner does not live there anymore, but the landlady knows the new address of Kyle's dad ... it is located in a city called Desolation!
