- There is a town called Hudson in New York, but the two seem unrelated.
- It's unclear whether Hudson University in Hudson is in any way related to the institution of the same name in nearby New Carthage, New York. The Atlas of the DC Universe instead identifies the Winston family's home town as New Carthage.
