Joker (Tomorrowverse)

Sometime before the murder of Johnny Viti, the Joker blackmailed an Arkham Asylum guard into letting him escape from the facility. His escape was not discovered until Batman questioned the Calendar Man about the identity of the Holiday killer. Because the Joker had escaped before Holiday killed Viti, this made him one of Batman's initial suspects.

On Christmas Eve, the Joker broke into District Attorney Harvey Dent's house. The Joker beat the D.A. and brought up the rumor that Harvey was secretly Holiday, before knocking him out. Afterward, he attacked Sal Maroni's restaurant and killed his men with Joker Venom, before breaking into Carmine Falcone's penthouse and restraining the gangster. As the Joker left, Holiday killed Falcone's bodyguard, with the Joker cards the Joker left around the crime scene leading Batman to suspect Joker was Holiday.

On New Years' Eve, the Joker stole a biplane after murdering its ground crew and armed it with Joker Venom to kill everyone in the crowd that had gathered in Gotham Square. Batman reached the plane and accused the Joker of murdering Viti, but the Joker denied being Holiday. In contrast, the Joker revealed that he considered Holiday a threat; he was using the Joker Venom to outdo and possibly kill Holiday if the killer was in the crowd. As per usual, Batman stopped the Joker and left him tied up on the top of a clock tower for the Gotham City Police Department to capture.

This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the film Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One (Movie) and is an adaptation of the Joker. The original character was created by Jerry Robinson, Bob Kane, and Bill Finger and first appeared in Batman #1.
