Synopsis for Supergirl: "What Goes Up... Can't Come Down"
Supergirl gets to rescue as many people as possible after her college friend Rudi Clement, now called Gravitron Man, activated a gravitational device that disrupted the Earth's gravitational field. As Supergirl deals with the ensuing enviromental disaster, she wonders what led her old friend to cause this. Her thoughts are being spied by a bodiless being who gloats about influencing Rudi and his cousin Martin Tain's thoughts -as well as the former's gravitational disruptor to affect even Supergirl, albeit temporarily- so they battle and tear the planet apart in the process.
As Gravitron Man streaks across the Atlantic Ocean to face up to his cousin, Martin -now Gravity Lord- refines his own gravitational ray, as grumbling about Rudolph's family ruining his. Over two hundred years and four generations earlier, Rudolph's ancestor quit his family, changed his name and sailed to America to join the rebellious colonists. Since then the Clements thrived and became wealthy as the Tains suffered poverty during several generations until he gained wealth and fame again. However, when he met his cousin and turned out both of them had developed anti-gravity, the family feud broke out again. Now they are willing to destroy each other, even if they take the planet with themselves.
Unaware that his rage is being fueled by a third party, Martin turns on his anti-gravity machine, disrupting gravity all over London. Meanwhile, over Florida Supergirl has managed to take everybody to safety and heads for England to capture Rudi.
As Supergirl zooms across the Atlantic, the Doom Patrol finds two of their members who had been beaten by Gravitron Man. They also find Martin Tain's diary, buried beneath his old lab's rubble. They have just learned about his family feud when Gravity Lord's device strikes.
Supergirl happens upon Gravitron Man and Gravity Lord as they're feuding over the Atlantic. When Kara confronts them, they break off their battle and attack her in unison.

Synopsis for Superman: "My Father... Superman"
Superman uses a Kryptonian computer in his Fortress of Solitude to simulate what would have occurred if Krypton had perished before he was born.
In the simulation, Krypton was destroyed by a collision with a comet when Superman's parents Jor-El II and Lara Lor-Van were infants. Jor-El's father Jor-El I discovered the comet weeks before it would hit, but the Science Council did not believe him. However, Lara's father Lor-Van had recently discovered an ancient Krull starship. The two men and their wives worked feverishly to restore the ship in time for their families to escape Krypton's doom. However, just as they are preparing for launch, the police arrived to arrest Lor-Van and Jor-El I for possessing an illegal techno-artifact -- the Krull starship. They are forced to immediately launch the starship with only Jor-El II and Lara onboard.
The two children were rocketed to Earth, while the rest of Krypton perished. They landed outside Smallville where they were discovered by Henry and Willa Clark and their daughter Martha. The Clarks decided to adopt the girl, and they were sure that their neighbors the Kents would want to adopt the boy.
Superman stops watching the simulation there, but is interested in seeing more later.
