Tamlin the Falconer is the father of Tim Hunter.
History
Tamlin is a human falconer who, while traveling in a forest, found a woman crying. Astounded by her, he accepted to escort her home. Little did he know that the woman was Queen Titania of The Fair Lands. Over time, the pair fell in love, and even later would have a son they named "Tim Hunter".
Despite Tamlin's wishes, Queen Titania eventually returned to her real husband - the king of the Fair Lands Auberon, and Tamlin left dejected.[1]
Tamlin disappeared for years before returning to the Fair Lands when it appeared they were in danger. He searched out his son and tutored him in the ways of magic as the world's champion.
However, after his studies, Tim was mortally wounded by the venom of the Manticore, and Tamlin magically traded his life for Tim's, sacrificing himself to Death to give his son another chance to save the world.[2]

- Magic: After eating fairy food for a long span of time, Tamlin gained magical abilities.
- Immortality: The passage of time did not affect him.
- Therianthropy: Tamlin can transform into a falcon at will.

- Animal Training: Tamlin regularly had a falcon at his service.
Weaknesses
- Ancient Rules: As an inhabitant of the realms, Tamlin is bound to old rules that limit his actions.
