"The Man" was a member of the Damnation Army.

History

A petty sorcerer, he killed girls by strangulation, and married their souls. When he wanted to take his fourth wife, Gemma, he was stopped by John Constantine and Zed. The Resurrection Crusade showed up before the police did, and burned down the house, possibly with the knocked-out man still in it.^[1]
