Synopsis for "Burning Rage, Part Two"

Hawk and Dove try to start a war between the common people and the rich by inciting them against each other, claiming they are taking what they rightfully earned. Robin hangs outside Hawk's apartment as Garfield investigates it using his spider form, telling Tim that it's been empty for a while and it's a waste of time. Robin tries to figure out why Hawk and Dove attacked the yacht club along with the Madmen. As he theorizes if Steve Dayton was the target, Beast Boy states it won't be surprising as he's made enemies since his time in Doom Patrol, while also having been turned crazy for a while after wearing the Mento Helmet.

Beast Boy states that after Steve stopped wearing his helmet, he grew concerned with making money and this caused him to grow up in a home without love, something Tim empathizes with. Finding nothing in Hawk's apartment, they head back to meet up with Raven and Starfire hoping they discovered something from Steve. Steve however expresses ignorance about the attackers and reason behind the attack on the yacht club. He tells the two ladies to leave him alone and orders Breur to take him home. Breur however while going towards Steve's car notices a flaming tanker truck being driven at high speed towards the buildings and alerts the Titans.

Raven teleports the burning tanker targeting Steve along with herself after great difficulty and loses consciousness after the explosion. Starfire however rescues her and also takes care of the debris from the explosion. Hawn and Dove again incite the rich and the common people to war, but it is revealed they're doing so under the control of Breur, who has the Mento Helmet. Robin and Beast Boy meanwhile arrive near Steve's office and learn what happen. Suddenly their attention is caught by the rich and the poor about to go to war under leadership of Hawk and Dove respectively.

This story is reprinted from Teen Titans (Volume 3) #8.

Robin has a heart-to-heart conversation with Batman concerning his dual identity. He is frustrated over the fact that he has been lying to his father for the past several years about his actions as Robin. Batman gives him some advice and flies him to Titans Tower in San Francisco in the Batplane.

Meanwhile, Deathstroke and his daughter Rose are determined to make sure that Jericho remains dead. The only way they can do that however is by tracking down the Titan who imprisoned him, Raven. Deathstroke and Rose begin investigating Raven's trail – a trail that leads them to the mysterious Church of Blood.

At Titans Tower, the remainder of the team discuss Raven and analyze her history and the circumstances that ultimately brought her back to them.
