Quote1 Ox, Tigris, and White Willow followed me. From the League of Assassins. I saved them. They kind of... worship me. Quote2
— Batgirl src

White Willow was a member of the League of Assassins, under the leadership of Nyssa al Ghul. Despite this, she holds an admiration for Batgirl, due to her prodigal fighting skills.

White Willow was training under the leadership of Lady Shiva on the day that Batgirl infiltrated their stronghold in an attempt to confront Shiva.[1] When Batgirl's escape with Mister Freeze resulted in the botched resurrection of Nora Fries, now on a murderous rampage and calling herself "Lazara", White Willow was rescued from certain death by Batgirl; White Willow decided to follow her after their escape into the nearby forest, along with Ox and Tigris.[2]

When the unhinged experiment and former teammate Mad Dog began indiscriminately killing all of the participants, Batgirl instructed her followers to leave. However, White Willow decided to stay and face him and was killed with a swift, bare-handed slash of the neck.[3]

Abilities

  • Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): Her full level of skill is unknown; but as a member of the League of Assassins, she is assured to have an exceptional fighting ability, seen when she fights against Lazara's undead forces.

  • Like the other members of Shiva's student group, White Willow calls Batgirl "One-Who-Is-All" due to her previous defeat of Shiva, though Batgirl greatly dislikes this worship.[3]
