The Saiya Squad[3] is a superhero team formed by Great Saiyaman & Great Saiyaman 2 to fight for justice and protect the peace in Satan City.

Biography[]

While attending Orange Star High School, Gohan foils a bank robbery using his Super Saiyan form, causing his classmates to notice the similarities between him and this mysterious, Golden Fighter. Gohan convinces Bulma to create a disguise for him and she creates a watch, which he uses to transform into a superhero alter ego he dubs Great Saiyaman. He begins assisting Mr. Satan's daughter Videl in fighting various criminals, however Videl grows suspicious and manages to trick Gohan into revealing his identity as Great Saiyaman, which she uses to blackmail Gohan into teaching her how to fly and to enter the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament. During the Majin Buu conflict, Videl learns that Gohan is the one truly responsible for the defeat of Cell and slowly begins to fall in love with Gohan. Following Kid Buu's defeat, Videl creates her own alter ego called Great Saiyaman 2 ("Great Saiyawoman" in the Funimation dub) and the two begin fighting crime in Satan City as a team while still in High School. After memory of Majin Buu's rampage is erased from the minds of Earth's general population, the Saiya Squad appear to assist in stopping a jewelry store robbery only to find it had already been foiled by Good Buu who had accompanyed Bulma while she was shopping.

However, by the time of Dragon Ball Super, Videl stopped using her alter-ego in order to focus on raising her and Gohan's daughter Pan. Gohan would continue fighting crime occasionally as Great Saiyaman in addition to working as a stunt double on a Great Saiyaman reboot film "Great Saiyaman vs Mr. Satan". However Barry Kahn who had been cast to play Great Saiyaman was jealous of Gohan who getting all the attention being the son-in-law of Mr. Satan and husband of Videl. Barry blackmailed his co-star Cocoa Amaguri into helping him tarnish Gohan's reputation. Meanwhile as Great Saiyaman, Gohan defeated a bank robber possessed by Watagash a dangerous alien criminal wanted by the Galactic Patrol who had escaped from Jaco's custody. Cocoa herself ended up discovering Gohan's secret identity as the real Great Saiyaman after overhearing a coversation between him and Bulma. Cocoa blackmails Great Saiyaman into flying her around and helping her do a private script rehearsal. Knowing Gohan was good person she attempted to thwart Barry by changing the location of the rehearsal, but Barry followed them learning Gohan's secret identity and taking a picture of Cocoa innocently kissing Gohan on the lips as thanks for his kind words of encouragement. Barry then showed the photo to Videl in an attempt to ruin Gohan's marriage by implying Gohan and Cocoa were having an affair. However Videl saw through Barry's act knowing Gohan would never cheat on her. Barry was later possessed by Watagash increasing his power due to Barry's evil heart and hatred of Gohan. Barry kidnapped Pan leading to a fight between him and Great Saiyaman. Barry transformed twice thanks to Watagash's possession forcing Great Saiyaman to go Super Saiyan, a form which the film director dubbed Super Great Saiyaman. Super Great Saiyaman defeats Watagash with Super Great Saiyaman Beam freeing Barry. Cocoa later blackmailed Barry into silence by threatening to tell the world he was the monster Great Saiyaman fought. Watagash was rearrested by Jaco though later escaped again after leaving Earth.

Though Gohan and Videl had pretty much retired from being superheroes by the time of Dragon Ball GT, Videl would briefly don her old Great Saiyaman Suit during the Super 17 Saga when she and Chi-Chi attempted to join the fight against Super 17 only to find he had already been defeated by Android 18 and Goku.

Film Appearances[]

Wrath of the Dragon[]

The Saiya Squad foils a bank robbery unaware that they are being observed by an old man. Later at school, they are summoned from school to stop this old man from committing suicide. After saving him, he reveals his name is Hoi and tells the two about the legendary warrior Tapion and that he needs their help in releasing him from the music box he is being held in, as the Earth would be endangered if he were not released. However unbeknownst to them, Hoi is actually an evil wizard and member of the Kashvar. Unable to open the box, Gohan summons Shenron to open it and free Tapion, who is angered that he has been freed due to the threat posed by the evil entity sealed within him.

Later the Saiya Squad confront a mysterious being that appeared and began wreaking havoc in Satan City. Suddenly Tapion appears and uses his Hero's Flute to drive the entity away. Eventually, Tapion reveals that part of the ancient monster Hirudegarn is sealed within him and that Hoi plans to merge it with the other half that was sealed within his brother, which the Saiya Squad had encountered in Satan City.

Eventually, Hirudegarn manages to escape though is eventually defeated by Goku. The Saiya Squad resumes their role as the defenders of Satan City after Tapion returns to his home planet using a Time Machine supplied by Bulma.

After the death of Mr. Satan in Age 820 the remnants of the Frieza Force invade Earth as their leaders the Guard Troops believed Mr. Satan had defeated Frieza and waited until after his death to invade. A 63-year-old Gohan once again disguises himself as Great Saiyaman and convinces his brother, daughter, Trunks, Krillin, and Tien to don Great Saiyaman-like costumes to hide their identities in order to combat the invaders. Though they manage to defeat them their ki-based fighting style still becomes a hot topic and global interest in "ki" escalates the existence of which had previously been revealed to the Earth's general population by Gohan's book Groundbreaking Science.

Dokkan Battle[]

Go Forth!! Hero of Justice
Dokkan Battle Story Event Go Forth!! Hero of Justice (Saiya Squad Story Event)

Go Forth!! Hero of Justice Story Event banner in Dokkan Battle

In the Story Event "Go Forth! Hero of Justice", in the dimensional distorted Age ???, Satan City comes under threat from various villains. However fortunately, the Saiya Squad consisting of Great Saiyaman 1 & 2 appear to defend it as they do in the main timeline.

In Stage 1: "Fight On! Hero of Justice!", the Saiya Squad defend the city from the Pilaf Gang who attack the city with their combined Pilaf Machine in search of the Dragon Balls. However, it is no match for the two heroes and the Pilaf Gang's plans to acquire the Dragon Balls are foiled once again.

In Stage 2: "Pure Heart, Evil Ambition", the Saiya Squad encounter their old enemies from the World Tournament Spopovich and Yamu who are once again under empowered by Babidi's magic. However, unlike their previous encounter with Videl and Gohan, they are defeated by the pairs alter-egos. Mr. Satan even acknowledges Great Saiyaman's strength, though he does so while boosting he is stronger still stronger (despite his boosting Mr. Satan is presumably grateful as he didn't have to fight the magically empowered Spopovich and Yamu).

In Stage 3: "Intercept the Alien Warrior!", while on patrol in the city Videl half-jokingly notes she's getting good enough at fighting crime as Great Saiyaman 2 that she could go solo though Gohan doesn't like hearing say such things as he prefers to fight crime alongside her. As they patrol, they encounter Saibamen and eventually discover that Gohan's uncle Raditz and old enemy Nappa have invaded the city as they heard about the Earth's strongest fighter Mr. Satan lives there. The stories of Mr. Satan's strength excite the two-battle loving Saiyans explaining their appearance. Knowing Videl's father won't stand a chance against the pair, the Saiya Squad intercept the two evil Saiyans. Surprisingly, Videl holds her own as Great Saiyaman 2 and even defeats the Saiyans. Mr. Satan proudly complements his daughter on her strength revealing he is aware of her true identity.

In Stage 4: "Young Hearts, Liberated!", they Saiya Squad announce themselves as they confront the presence of the Red Ribbon Army fighting off Jet-copters before encountering Android 17 & Android 18. The as the twins are unfamiliar with the name Satan City and are prepared to destroy it, it is suggested they are actually Future Android 17 & 18 or another evil incarnation of them (their unfamiliarity with Satan City suggests they come from Trunks or Cell's timeline as the their Age ??? counterparts do not hate humanity and are more like the Android 17 & 18 of the main timeline though they do hunt Goku along with Android 16 like their main timeline counterparts did though later aid the Time Patrol in confronting other villains such as Dr. Gero and Cell) from another timeline due to the dimensional distortion. Regardless of their timeline of origin, the Saiya Squad are ready to confront the siblings to protect the city. Despite the twin's infinite energy, they are no match for the Saiya Squad who by as a team are strong enough to defeat them. After stopping the Red Ribbon Army and their evil Androids, the Saiya Squad celebrate in their usual dramatic fashion.

In Stage 5: "Defeat the King of Demon Realm!", while on patrol they encounter more of Babidi's forces. Eventually Dabura the King of Demon Realm decides to make an appearance and demands to face Mr. Satan. To protect her father, Videl and Gohan confront him in Mr. Satan's place. Unlike their encounter in the main timeline, Gohan is able to defeat Dabura with Videl's assistance. Videl notes that if Dabura can't defeat her he has no chance against her father which Mr. Satan agrees with to save face as in reality he'd stand little chance against the King of Demon Realm.

In the Event's final Stage 6: "Stop the Reckless Majin!", while dealing with the rest of Babidi's forces near Orange Star High School, the Saiya Squad are forced to confront different incarnations of Majin Buu depending on the difficulty setting. On normal difficulty, they confront Innocent Buu who is planning to rampage though it is unclear if he is the weaker incarnation created by Kid Buu absorbing only Grand Supreme Kai after being freed from the Sealed Ball in the present of Age ??? or another incarnation that appeared due to the dimensional distortion. On Hard difficulty, they are confronted by Evil Buu and Good Buu. On Z-Hard difficulty they confront Super Buu in either his base or occasionally his Super Buu (w/ Piccolo Absorbed) form. Base Super Buu comes to Satan City to like most of the villains to confront the city's namesake as he heard the strongest lives there (implying he doesn't know it's Mr. Satan or he never befriended him in his timeline of origin which ever that may be). Super Buu (w/ Piccolo Absorbed) however simply notes he could easily destroy the planet and decides that Satan City is as good as any place to start with (due to Piccolo's memories he is fully aware of Mr. Satan's actual strength is inferior to his own). However, none of the incarnations are a match for the Saiya Squad. After stopping the rampaging Majin, Videl notes they should come up with a new pose and Gohan enthusiastically agrees. With the defeat of the villain's peace is restored by the Saiya Squad who continue to protect the city while Future Trunks and his unseen partner continue their work to investigate the cause of the distortion thus at least Satan City is safe from the various villainous factions that inhabit Age ???.

Xenoverse 2[]

Inside a time rift anomaly that formed around Satan House, the Saiya Squad fights against evil and convince Elite Galactic Patrolman, Jaco to join them, albeit reluctantly as he needs their help to repair his spaceship. While investigating the anomaly, the Future Warrior, a Time Patroller from Age 852 is convinced to join them and is dubbed Great Saiyaman 3 (Saiyanoob in the Funimation dub) by Gohan.

If the Future Warrior is an Earthling they will start the game investigating the Satan House anomaly where they will spot the Saiya Squad (minus Jaco) practicing their posing. At first Great Saiyaman 2 is apprehensive about posing but Great Saiyaman convinces her to pose, and she nails it on the first try according to Great Saiyaman. Great Saiyaman 2 also finds that posing felt good and becomes more enthusiastic about posing as she quickly agrees to Great Saiyaman's suggestion of coming up with a team pose.

Saiya Squad in Dragon Ball Fusions

Inside the Timespace Rift, Great Saiyaman 1 & 2 are joined by a female alien superhero Granyu, an elderly male Earthling superhero named Chauda, and a Saiyan Galactic Patrolman named Tyber. Tekka's Team can encounter them as a strong enemy on a hill near the Capsule Corporation in Area 1F of the rift. They can challenge them to a fight, though must complete two Sub-Events before they are scoutable.

Sub-Event: "Future's Child"

Tekka's Team can encounter either Adult Gohan or Videl at the Cell Games Area in Area 3F after travelling to Area 4F. Talking to either one, Pan discovers that they are her parent's younger selves as they are both shocked to meet their future daughter, though Videl quickly figures out that Videl is her and Gohan's future daughter. After Goten and Trunks explain about the presence of Pan and Kid Goku, Gohan/Videl will tell them that they know some fighters who they can train with. This leads to Tekka's Team meeting their train partners on top of a nearby building in the city near the Future Capsule Corporation. There they encounter the Saiya Squad (Gohan & Videl in their alter-egos). While Goten and Trunks are aware of their true identities, Pan and Goku are not. Great Saiyaman reminds Goten not to reveal his true identity before the Saiya Squad and Tekka's Team spar. Completing this Sub-Event rewards, the team with Energy and causes the Saiya Squad to appear at Fortuneteller Baba's Palace in Area 4F. Additionally, Adult Gohan, Super Saiyan Adult Gohan, and Videl become scoutible allowing Tekka's Team to recruit them.

Sub-Event: "Out On Patrol"

Tekka's Team meet the Saiya Squad (Saiyaman 1 & 2) at Fortuneteller Baba's Palace with Great Saiyaman 1 greeting the team when they speak to them. While Kid Goku is happy to see them again, Pan reveals she was hoping they wouldn't run into the Saiya Squad again. Kid Trunks almost slips and calls Great Saiyaman by his real name Gohan, though manages to stop himself and calls the duo Saiyaman and Saiyawoman before asking what they are doing at Baba's Palace. Great Saiyaman reveals the Saiya Squad had come across a group of no-good villains in the area that have wreaking the place. Saiyawoman adds that they had just got done taking care of the villains, causing Goku to congratulate them. However Great Saiyaman states that one of them got away and Saiyawoman suggests Tekka's Team help them out and track him down as a form of training. Tekka agrees and Great Saiyaman reveals the villain that escaped is an Offworlder martial artist named Yamma.

Great Saiyaman tells them to be careful as Yamma is powerful, but Goten states it will be a piece of cake and to leave it to them, but slips up and calls him Gohan, revealing Great Saiyaman's identity to Pan, causing Videl and Gohan to yell at Goten, before dropping the subject and leaving the team to track down Yamma. The team finds Yamma standing under some mushrooms in the desert on the island below Fortuneteller Baba's Palace. Yamma is admonishing himself for almost getting caught by the Saiya Squad who he calls goofballs. Kid Trunks confronts him, and Yamma asks who they are. Pan states they have heard that he has been up to no good and that they are taking him into the Saiya Squad, though Yamma refuses to go quietly as he believes he can defeat them. This leads to a battle with Yamma's Team consisting of Yamma himself, Goyan, and Macaroo.

After defeating Yamma, he will run off and Tekka's Team must chase after him. After tracking him down, he is cornered by Kid Goku. Yamma tells him to give up before it gets ugly and battle them again, this time with Sirami and Nanmu as backup. He is defeated a second time but once again escapes capture. They finally track him down to the tallest building in the alien city of Area 4F. Tired of being made to look stupid, Yamma reveals that he called on some backup from the Demon Realm and that it is the end of the line for Tekka's Team. Goku tells Tekka to watch their back as he has a bad feeling. Yamma then confronts them with Evil Namekian Ghiro and Demon Swordsman Halto both of whom have come from Demon Realm. Unlike the other battles, Tekka's Team must defeat Yamma and his two allies. After defeating Yamma for the third and final time, Tekka's Team manages to capture him. After capturing him, Pan says they should go back to the Saiya Squad who she refers to as "sucky superheroes".

Great Saiyaman thanks them for capturing Yamma and states that taking him out was a tall order. Pan says they sure know how to keep Tekka's Team busy and tells Great Saiyaman to do his own dirty work next time, before revealing she remembered Goten's slip up by calling Great Saiyaman, dad. Great Saiyaman laughs and apologizes. Saiyawoman also slips up and calls him Gohan, confirming her suspicions that Saiyawoman is her mother Videl and Saiyaman is her father. Videl apologizes stating that they were only trying to play their part to protect society by keeping people safe from behind the scenes. While Pan understands this, however she asks why they have to wear such silly costumes as she finds it embarrassing. Gohan however insists the costumes are awesome and Goten agrees, causing Pan to sigh and give up trying to reason with them. Completing this sub-event rewards the team with energy and makes Saiyaman 1, Saiyaman 2, and Yamma scoutible allowing Tekka's Team to recruit them.

Recruiting Saiyaman 1 & 2

After completing both Sub-Events Tekka's Team can take on the Saiya Squad in Area 1F. To make the Saiya Squad Strong Enemy group appear, Tekka's Team must defeat several enemy NPCs in the area until they show. They can recruit both by KOing them with a Zenkai Attack. After being recruited, they will appear in the Team's Spaceship and can be selected as team members. Additionally, recruiting Saiyaman 1 & 2 will unlock their clothing Great Saiyaman Outfit and Great Saiyaman 2 Outfit at the Clothing Shop in Satan City. Great Saiyaman Outfit can be worn by Tekka if they are male while Great Saiyaman 2 Outfit can be worn by them if they are female. Great Saiyaman 2 Outfit costs 300 Blue Energy while Great Saiyaman Outfit costs 150 Red & 150 Blue Energy.

World Mission[]

Xeno Trunks. The Third Saiyaman

During Xeno Trunks's investigation into anomalies in the timeline of the SDBH game world created by "the menace", he comes to Hero Town on Earth where the game Super Dragon Ball Heroes is extremely popular with people like Xeno Goku, Xeno Vegeta, and Xeno Trunks being famous celebrities due to their appearance in the game as playable characters. To investigate more discreetly, Xeno Trunks has Leggings develop a costume to conceal his identity which she bases off the original Great Saiyaman Suit though with a more high-tech armored design and a sword to fit Xeno Trunks' fighting style. Leggings "knighted" Xeno Trunks as "Great Saiyaman 3" which left both Great Saiyaman 3 and Leggings assistant Anne speechless which Leggings attributed to the epicness of the moment but in reality, both Anne and Xeno Trunks were not fond of the design and did not share Leggings opinion but kept quiet out of respect for her. Unlike the first two Great Saiyamen, Great Saiyaman 3 was more serious and did not engage in goofy dramatic posing, which along with his SDBH playing skills made him a popular local celebrity among the SDBH community earning his nickname Hero Master (often shortened to Master) and the "dreamboat" moniker, though his celebrity did not impede his investigation into the anomalies and actually helped him recruit SDBH players to join his Dragon Ball Heroes Team whom serve the role Time Patrollers in the game world as they fix anomalies that alter the game's timeline such as Beat and Froze both of whom are fans of Great Saiyaman 3.

Leggings liked her design so much she added a suit materialization feature to the Hero Switch as a built-in feature which she intended to be utilized by the rest of the DBH Team. However, Anne and Great Saiyaman 3 stopped her from telling the others about said feature as they thought it was unnecessary.

Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 1 - "Great Saiyaman 4"

To combat the recent attacks on SDBH players in Hero Town by the game world Organization of Babidi who have escaped the game world dimension twice due to an anomaly, Great Saiyaman 3 has Leggings and Anne add a new feature to the Hero Switches to allow the DBH Team to tap into their latent power to manifest game world abilities in the real world of Dragon Ball allowing them to take on the form of their Hero Avatar to fight in the real world. This causes Beat to ask if he can use the Hero Switch to don a suit like Hero Master costume (Beat's name for the Great Saiyaman 3 Suit) noting being able to wear a suit like his would be an honor. Great Saiyaman 3 permits Leggings to tell Beat and the rest of the team about the built-in feature and how to activate it. Beat activates the built-in in function and materializes a smaller sized, swordless, red, yellow, black version of the suit with a blue cape. Beat is thrilled to have his own suit as he shares Leggings' opinion on its design being "cool", though Note does not consider the suit to be cool indicating she shares Anne and Great Saiyaman 3's opinion of the suit while Froze and Kagyu make no comment on how they feel about it, though like Note, they chose to use their Hero Avatars over materializing their own version of the suit using their Hero Switches. Leggings suggests Beat go by Great Saiyaman 4, which he likes and accepts as his hero name. After the cutscene featuring Beat's transformation into Great Saiyaman 4, his Great Saiyaman 4 form can be selected to use in battle though doing so changes his default Super Attack to Kamehameha, Ability 1 to Hero's Code, and makes him unable to use his normal Avatar's CAA Special Ability though he can still utilize accessories to customize the Great Saiyaman 4 avatar's Super Attack, add additional Abilities, CAA/TAA Special Ability, and Ultimate Unit. The Hero Avatar card must be in a custom deck to use Great Saiyaman 4 in battle. The player also has the option of using their normal Hero Avatar.

Super Boss Mission - "I'm a Robber Now?!"

In Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 1: "Great Saiyaman 4", Super Boss Mission: "I'm a Robber Now?!", after the defeat of the Organization of Babidi but while Hero Town is still damaged from the recent battles, Great Saiyaman 3 contacts Great Saiyaman 4 and informs him he's picking up an incident in his vicinity. Great Saiyaman 4 wonders if it is another anomaly created by the menace, but the Hero Master can't say for sure and orders him to go over and assess the situation, stat and that he'll be there soon to provide backup.

"Oh, my God of Destruction! That's Great Saiyaman 2!"
— Beat's thoughts upon meeting Great Saiyaman 2 in Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission

Beat finds the locals Maline, Incha, Tour, Mint, and Chamile, standing in front of Incha's Gacha Shop where the incident occurred, however before he can assess the situation properly, a voice calls out tp him and to his surprise its Great Saiyaman 2 of the Saiya Squad. Great Saiyaman 2 asks what he is doing there noting the areas off-limits. Great Saiyaman 4 explains he heard there was trouble and came to check it out and asks if she can tell him what happened. Great Saiyaman 2 reveals it was just a robbery, though luckily the guy's already on his way to the slammer indicating the robbery was foiled by the Saiya Squad. Great Saiyaman 4 assumes its case closed but Great Saiyaman 2 says the prep had accomplices and she and Great Saiyaman 1 are still sweeping the area. Great Saiyaman 2 however suspects Great Saiyaman 4 and asks why he seems to be in quite the hurry. Great Saiyaman 4 realizes she suspects him of being one of the bad guys and tries to explain that the Hero Master told him to check out the scene of the crime, though unbeknownst to him, Great Saiyaman 2 is unfamiliar with the Hero Master, and she mistakenly assumes his "Master" is the leader of a band of heinous criminals. Great Saiyaman 4 tries to explain that Great Saiyaman 3 is a hero. Great Saiyaman 2 however is shocked there is a third Saiyaman and Beat adds that technically speaking he is Great Saiyaman 4. However Great Saiyaman 2 refuses to believe him and suspects he's just making stuff up. Great Saiyaman 4 isn't sure how, but he's managed to tick her off and decides to flee as she's too angry to listen to reason. However, this only convinces Great Saiyaman 2 that she is right to suspect him and chases after him. Great Saiyaman 4 manages to run into Great Saiyaman 3 who asks him what the heck is going on.

Great Saiyaman 2 manages to catch up with Great Saiyaman 4 and suspects Great Saiyaman 3 is the crime boss who has been throwing the Saiyaman name around. Great Saiyaman 4 is taken aback by her accusation and quickly realizes the nature of the situation he just walked into. To make matters worse, the original Great Saiyaman appears on a a nearby rooftop. He announces his presence by admitting he finds the design of Great Saiyaman 3's costume to be rad, but like his partner Great Saiyaman 2, believes Great Saiyaman 3 & 4 to be heinous criminals who are misusing the Saiyaman name. Great Saiyaman 4 notes the original Saiyaman is on their case and Great Saiyaman 3 notes it is one sticky situation they have gotten themselves into. Great Saiyaman notes that Great Saiyaman 3 certainly looks strong enough for the Saiyaman mantle and notes to his partner they will have to fight him at full power. Realizing there is no getting out of their situation, the Hero Master orders Great Saiyaman 4 to fight fire with fire and take on the Saiya Squad at full power as well.

Great Saiyaman 3 and 4 manage to defeat first two Great Saiyamen. Great Saiyaman stops fighting and tells his partner to wait as he notes they are telling the truth after fighting them and notes they cannot be villains as their ki is too pure. Great Saiyaman 4 says that is what he's been trying to tell them all along while the Hero Master is glad that said misunderstandings behind them. Great Saiyaman notes that Great Saiyaman 3's ki in particular feels familiar to him (it is likely Xeno Trunks' ki signature is similar to that of his counterparts Future Trunks and Trunks who's ki signatures Great Saiyaman is the most familiar with) though the Hero Master pretends to laugh it off by saying he just has that kind ki to conceal his true identity from Beat as he hasn't told the DBH Team he is Xeno Trunks yet. Though Great Saiyaman may suspect Great Saiyaman 3 of being an incarnation of Trunks he doesn't say anything and instead dismisses it as just a feeling and notes its nothing worth pursuing (understanding the need for a fellow Saiyaman to conceal their true identity) to the Hero Master's relief. Great Saiyaman 2 apologies to both 3 & 4 for jumping to conclusions, though Great Saiyaman 3 says they don't mind.

Great Saiyaman 4 agrees and says he had a blast getting to fight one of his all-time favorite heroes which Great Saiyaman finds quite humbling and thanks him for being so understanding. Great Saiyaman 3 says it's pretty cool that their recent match included the entire lineage of Great Saiyamen and Great Saiyaman agrees and says let it be the start of a new alliance before giving them all the cue to join him in a team pose. Though Great Saiyaman 3 & 4 both question the necessity of posing they both humor the Saiya Squad and join in. However, while Beat does so enthusiastically, Great Saiyaman 3 finds it incredibly awkward even thinking to himself it is "more awkward than Buu trying to ice skate..." though out of respect for his fellow Saiyamen he keeps his personal feelings towards posing to himself so as not to ruin the moment.

Rematches with the Saiya Squad

After completing the mission, Great Saiyaman 4 can take on the mission again to fight the Saiya Squad. This time Great Saiyaman suggests they all hone their heroic senses with another round of battle and Great Saiyaman 2 says it's a hero's duty to remain in top condition as you never know when evil will rear its ugly head. However, like with most of these side missions, the same ending cutscene is used if they are defeated despite it contradicting them recognizing Great Saiyaman 4 as a hero in the opening cutscene upon replay of said mission.

Trivia[]
