Shinjin chooses Kai[]
"Whenever one of the Kai on the Kai planets passes away, the Shin-jins draw lots among themselves to choose who will take the Kai's place and become a new Kai."
Then why nobody replaced North Kaio when he died? Holy shit. Sandubadear (talk) 18:39, April 19, 2013 (UTC)
Core People[]
Should we name the page "Core People"? Meshack (talk) 17:07, April 10, 2016 (UTC)
- I think we should. Either Shin (which might be confusing because Supreme Kai calls himself Shin and that's the name of the race), Core, or Core People SSGKakarotto (talk) 06:01, April 26, 2016 (UTC)
Chronoa[]
Is Chronoa really a part of Universe 7, or is she outside of it and in a different realm on its own watching over time for all of the universes? Diamonddeath (talk) 01:42, February 21, 2017 (UTC)
Another Translation[]
Shin can translate also as God or Deity
Because kami used usually for monotheistic gods, top gods or holy spirits by general like tengu, tennin/tenshi (buddhist angels), valkyries etc... AZS (talk) 05:50, April 4, 2020 (UTC)
You are mixing up completely different things, AZS.
Shin (しん) is the kan-on reading (of Chinese origin) of the kanji 神, which basically means "god", "deity", "divinity" or "spirit", while the Japanese name of the race to which the Kaio and Kaio-shin belong is "Shin-jin" (芯人), being 芯 a totally different kanji from the previous one (despite sharing the exact same pronunciation and reading), which means "core" or "nucleus". ~ Yon ~Visit my talk page! 10:25, April 4, 2020 (UTC)
thank you AZS (talk) 14:00, April 4, 2020 (UTC)
"Core People" is the official English name[]
Should the unofficial name translation notice be removed for this page? As of the most recent Xenoverse 2 update, Zamasu has dialogue in the Festival of Universes lobby that directly refers to Shin-jin as Core People. BladesOfJudgement (talk) 02:54, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
