Career

editHe played for such a clubs like Legia Warsaw, Górnik Zabrze, Odra Wodzisław Śląski and CA Osasuna. After scoring in a 3–1 win over Rosenborg on 13 September 1995, Staniek became the second player to scored for a Polish team in the group stage of UEFA Champions League.
National team
editStaniek was a member of the Poland national team at the 1992 Summer Olympics, and scored a goal in the final against Spain.[1]
