Ferdinand Elbers

Ferdinand Elbers (December 24, 1862 in Ghent - 1943) was a Flemish Belgian mechanic, trade unionist, and politician. He served as the president of the Brussels federation of the Belgian Labour Party in 1901.

In 1904, he was elected to the Belgian Senate, but his election was ruled void and he was denied his seat until 1908, when he was elected for a second time.

In 1912, he was elected to the Belgian Parliament, where he served until 1929.

His grandson is Jef Elbers.
