Columnist Norma Lee Browning is shown interviewing executive producer Gail Patrick Jackson and author Erle Stanley Gardner on the Perry Mason set. Gardner made his only appearance in the CBS-TV series in the final episode, "The Case of the Final Fade-Out", as a judge. The episode was broadcast May 22, 1966. All three subjects of the photograph are deceased. Hollywood columnist Norma Lee Browning was the successor to Hedda Hopper, whose son William Hopper costarred in this series. Hopper invited Browning on set during the filming of the final episode, and this photograph is a unique record. |
