Procyliosoma tuberculatum tuberculatum is a large pill millipede of the family Sphaerotheriidae, endemic to New Zealand.

It is the largest millipede in New Zealand, males having a width of 11 mm and a length of 22 mm, and females a width of 20 mm and length of 40 or even 50 mm. Coloration is blackish-brown or black, chestnut or dark brown head, with the anterior margin black, and sometimes with a small median triangular ochreous area immediately behind the anterior margin.

They feed on decaying vegetation, and are widespread in the North Island and northern South Island. The largest specimens only reach full size on offshore islands free of predators.
