Kalle Mattson is a Canadian indie rock band now based in Ottawa.[1] The band is in rotation on CBC Radio.[2] The Ottawa Citizen calls the band "energetic and entertaining"[3] with a clear sense of mission, while the Ottawa Sun identifies them as one of the city’s "favourite bands".[4]

History

Kalle Mattson formed in 2009 in Sault Ste. Marie with lead vocalist Kalle Wainio.[1] The band is now based in Ottawa.[1]

Music

The band's first full length album Whisper Bee was self-released in 2009.[5] Their second album Anchors was released in 2010 and [6] and re-released by Parliament of Trees in 2011.
