Megat Burhainuddin

Prof. Datuk Dr. Haji Megat Burhainuddin bin Megat Abdul Rahman, CStJ is currently the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of MAHSA University College[1], as well as the Deputy Chairman of the St. John Council of Malaysia and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of St. John Ambulance of Malaysia[2].

Career

Megat Burhainuddin graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya and specialises in public health medicine. He had served in public healthcare in Malaysia for over 30 years and retired as the Deputy Director-General of Health in the Ministry of Health. Prior to that, he had also served as the Director of Institute for Public Health and the Director of Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

He is also a council member of the Malaysian Medical Council[3].
