Czehoslovakia or Slovakia never is not it before the 20th century !!! " Bratislava " name was Pozsony from the 9th century to the earlier 20th century and it was part of the Kingdom of Hungary !!! Pozsony was the capital city of Hungary approximately to 300 years.Nmate

Indeed, to use Bratislava for the era before 1919 is anachronistic. Also, there were no "Slovak" mining settlements at all--and many German settlements were on "wilder Wurzel"--cut from the forest, esp. in the Zips, notwithstanding what some modern nationalistic Slovak historians dream. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.70.144.72 (talk) 02:03, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced statements

There are certain unsourced statements for about 25 days. Can anyone provide sources?--Svetovid (talk) 12:05, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the unsourced info and also inserted more fact tags. The Hungarian source has to be translated and reliability needs to be proved.--Svetovid (talk) 20:40, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Reslovakization" was an option, you should not delete it, when you can also use google to find something academic stuff, like this: [1] from David Čaněk --Rembaoud (talk) 11:48, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Census data for Magyarization?

It was stated that there was voluntary Magyarization among the Carpathian Germans however I was wondering if anyone would like to post the statistics shown here? They are quite striking, as despite population growth, the number of Germans decreased from 318,794 in 1880 to 198,405 in 1910.
