Summary

Description
English: PCB Via current capacity chart showing 1mil Plating Via Current Capacity (A) & Resistance (R) vs Diameter on a 1.6mm PCB

Data derived from Saturn PCB Toolkit v6.51 using IPC-2152 data.

Note: dips in the Amps values are due to step area calculations from the IPC-2152 standard graphs. All values are within +/-10% of the chart values however
In practice the capacity will of course increase monotonically.
